In order to participate in the RPG functions of this Adoptable, I'm afraid you must be apart of the Discord so that dice bots may be used. If you are unable to join the discord, I can set up a Normal explore instead if you would like to do that? 0 players like this post! Like? |

You open your maw, perhaps in greeting, but are quickly silenced when Tasman's head rises sharply, "Well look what we have here!" His voice is rough with the remnants of drowsiness, but has a very clear excited undertone. He shifts slightly, taking on a more awake and aware posture, though he remains laying in the grassy clearing of the Ever-Greens. He watches you, a yawn escaping him before a slight smile graces his lips. "Well, I can't imagine you came to give that as a gift, no one does... interested in a Tour perhaps?" As he does so, another yawn escapes him, this time accompanied by a stretching forelimb... that reaches out and snatches your cut of meat before you can even blink. In the next second, it disappears into the glutton's gullet. "Right then," Tasman says cheerfully, "To the Frost Lands it is." The journey from the Ever-Greens to the beach side you'll have to cross to enter the Frost Lands is a long one, filled with speech and idle conversation from your travel companion. He points out various locals as you walk past their entrance, a swamp here, a marsh there, a jungle terrain too your right... but he does not stop and continues to lead you past these places. This is still the Ever-Greens, after all. After some time of dreary conversation and vague mentions of the scenery you could explore - Ice Caverns, Ice Flows, Frost Forests, Snow Capped Mountain Ranges - the pair of you eventually come to a stop on a white, sandy beach. "Well," Tasman says, cheerfully as ever, "This is where I bid you farewell and good luck. Swim cross, you'll hit the Ice Flows eventually, from there, you can visit any of the places I mentioned.... just mind the fins." He shoots you a dazzling smile. @Predy1 (#207274) Sorry for slow response! You dive head in! And almost immediately regret it! The water is freezing cold, and you freeze on the spot from the shock of it. But, eventually, you manage to get your limbs to move and begin to slowly churn the water. You look behind you, to see that Tasman has already vanished from the shoreline, perhaps retreating into the vegetation that lines the shore. No matter, now, you must swim. And so you do. You swim until the cold numbs your limbs... and then some. Eventually, you can no longer see the shore you came from... and have no clue as to the location of any shore that may lie ahead. A particularly rough waves washes over you, sending you under, briefly, before you rise again, sputtering. You're starting to tire now... maybe you should change course? @Predy1 (#207274) Perhaps its not the smartest idea to change course... no telling what might be out in these waters... didn't Tas say something about fins? You shudder at the thought. The last thing you'd need today would be a shark attack, after all. You swim on, as fast as your tiring limbs and the violent waves would allow you. Its a long time before you see anything, but when you do, you seem unable to make it out clearly - perhaps an effect of the salt water constantly assaulting your eyes. [A] I can see now, its land! [B] I can see now, its... uh oh, SWIM AWAY! [C] I can see now, its an Ice flow! [D] It's too hard to tell... 0 players like this post! Like? |
