How do you breed for the different variants of primal? And I'm thinking of sex-changing Portia and making her my next king.

there's a very low chance for normal primal males to pass down felis or smilus! that chance becomes higher if you purchase a pennyroyal from the oasis and feed it to the male, i believe. for ferus you would need to get a mukombero in march or purchase one from another player or, you know, breed to a ferus stud and hope that his mutation passes.

Oh okay because I have a smilus king now he's done well passing primal with NCLs but Portia is a felis cub and I wasn't sure if felis had a good chance at producing primal variants as well? Or how to produce felis?

i suppose any of the variations have a lower chance at passing than the normal primal variant? but you can use the pennyroyal to increase your king's chance at producing a smilus cub. keep in mind smilus only passes to male cubs so you could probably use a red cock to increase the chances as well

No it doesn't because he can still pass primal even being a felis cub.

I have a regular primal so I think he can breed any primal variant just he hasn't done so

He has not produced ferus or smilus and not sure if he can
