Altostratus blinked at the drake in front of him, slowly stepping just past the cave's enterance.
" Uhum. Hello? "
He took a step forward, then remembered how disheveled he must've looked. Bloody and bruised, with torn-up feet and random scorch marks. Embarrassment washed over his being as he sniffed the northern wind, looking out and catching the sight of iridescent scales.

Braiden breathed a sigh of releaf when she saw her dear friend was okay, she trotted up to him, a slight smile showing on her face and pressed her head onto his shoulder, giving a small short lick in sign of greeting. She turned as she heard something at the cave entrance, her ears pulled back slightly, "what is going on?" she tried to ask calmly

The drake yawned, hopping off the rock. She walked, head held high away from the rock, sighing. "Maybe it won't be so bad.. talking to others." She murmured quietly, deep purple scales glowing in the moonlight. Fallen had her reasons for not talking to others, at least not without being approached, but that was a minor set back. Not talking to others didn't really bother her, considering she had been in situations where she was forced to talk to dragons that would judge her not based on herself but the people she interacted with. Maybe she really wasn't able to talk to others without being uncomfortable, and if that was the case, than maybe she should take a moment to learn.

" I, uh. I think I need help. "
He glanced behind him at the glowing cave and bit his lip. He then sniffed and blinked down at the small pool of blood that was collecting at his burnt, frayed, worn paws.

Braidens lip was starting to curl, showing the canines that could so fiercely rip him to pieces at this time, until she smelled something, the smell of iron but tangier than usual, she looked down and saw the pool of blood sitting at his paws. Nearly all levels of aggression vanished as she saw the poor thing stood there, hurt and alone, how would they be able to hurt Havileh in their condition. She padded up to the Drake and sniffed at his wound, "come in" she said concerned, there was still a slight worry, letting a stranger in, but she was hopeful everything would be okay

She took him into a free corner, collecting some free pelts they had for him to rest on and putting then into a nice snug heap. As the Drake lay down, she noticed he was tailless, *i wonder how that happened*she thought. She then proceeded to take one of the spare pelts and wrapped it round his leg(im assuming its his leg, tell me if im wrongXD). Her motherly instinct was kicking in, she has never had the chance to have any pups, she was an only child and when she was older enough she left her parents and has never seen another wolf since. She partly regrets leaving, the possibility of never seeing her kind again, but she hopes one day she will find another. it was somewhat strange being around different species, their odd smells and weird habits, but she had grown somewhat fond of having Havilah around, they met when she had not long left home and she couldn't think of anyone better to spend her time with

He lay with his paws facing upward, his neck spot softly glowing with moving swirls as he breathed.

" It's an old Draconic map. I've been hunting them down, but this is the only one I could possibly read, and it's barring me. There something the Olden elders never wanted non-dracons to see. "

No sooner had Havilah hugged his friend had he felt her stiffen. He turned to see the intruder blocking the entrance to the cave. He curled his lip and hissed. The dragon stammered as he asked for help nodding to the puddle of blood on the floor. Before Havilah could say anything, Braiden invited him in, guiding him to the pile of pelts. He immediately saw that the dragon had no tail, he was curious but pushed it out of his mind. “Y-you can’t be serious Braiden..we don’t even know him” he tried to argue as she bandaged his arm. The stranger told them where he had been which had only further convinced him that he needed to go. “ magic and scrolls?” He said incredulously. “If he is involved with magic, he could be dangerous, maybe even a sorcerer! You know what they are capable of. He can’t stay.” His voice rose in panic.

Altostratus blinked at Havilah with a jaded look in his eyes.
" I'm no sorcerer. I am half- Draconid, the son of a Drake and high-mountain Draconid. I want to know why half of my kind-- Half of me-- died out so fast, and why I don't have powers, " He hissed. His throat patch expanded a bit, glowing a deep red as he barely began to bare his teeth in annoyance. If he had a tail, it would be thrashing in anger.
