Appearance: Jasper has long, straight fiery red hair that reaches about 2-3 inches past her shoulder. Her skin is lightly tanned, though she has no freckles but she has a dimple in her left cheek when she smiles, and due to elf heritage from her father she has the same pointed ears and quiet, elegant grace of movement. Her eyes are a startling shade of violet purple, giving her an almost hypnotic but attractive look. She has a scar on her right eye in the shape of three claw marks, though it didn't affect her vision. Her clothes consist of white socks with black boots, dark grey jeans, a dark purple fitted t-shirt, a black hoodie, and a "fishing" cap that say in bold black letters "Women want me. Fish fear me.". She stands at around 5'10 in height.

Personality: Jasper is a quiet, calm gal who likes peace and quiet whenever it happens. She's very kind and gentle, but can be very stubborn if she sets her mind to something. She's fiercely loyal and protective if you manage to become friends with her, as she has a few trust issues. Otherwise she's actually a bit shy, and can get emotional if she's either not in a good mood or something bad happens. But she does enjoy spending time with the dragons, especially the babies who hatched from eggs that weren't chosen for the Choosing Ceremony.

((Side note: She also has unknown heritage from her mother, seeing as she never knew her. The features including an odd glowing of the eyes when she's excited or upset/angry, and a form of double shadow will appear, except the shadow looks not like her own. The shadow appears to have tall, elegant horns, and huge wings that seem to have feathers. She also gives off an acient, dangerously powerful aura when she's angry, and if said anger is directed towards you in particular then there's probably hell to pay.))

Dragon Species: She's what's called a Shadow Melt Dragon. She has the ability to melt in to shadows, and uses them to either escape or hide. She can also use the shadows to trap and kill prey when she's older. But she doesn't know this yet because she hasn't hatched. The legends about this rare species say that they're very dangerous when angered, but if you manage to befriend one then you're VERY lucky.

Appearance: She's is an almost pure black dragon. Her scales have a purple ish hue to them, and she has piercing golden yellow eyes. Her tail tip is pointed like a snake's tail, but has something like feathers or fur on the end. On the left side of her face, she has milky white scales that make a lightning bolt shape from the top of her left eye and down to her left collarbone. She can change and grow her size, but if she couldn't then she'd be about 6 feet tall and 7-8 feet long when full grown.

Personality: She's a a shy, quiet dragoness who prefers staying in the background. She can be a bit skittish, and will often times run away and hide if you scare her. But she's quite friendly and sweet, but can be a little stubborn if she doesn't want to do something or sets her mind to doing a certain thing. Often times if she's upset (mainly as a baby) she'll let out these cries, a sound similar to a scared baby deer when it gets stuck. Otherwise she likes being around other dragons, though she tends to be more wary of humans and other creatures aside from her rider.

Other: Her favorite snack is strawberries. Despite most dragons, she's more into fruits then meat, though she can and will eat both. Rumor also has it that her egg was found alone, sitting on the doorstep of the school inside a tattered basket with moss and feathers. Nobody knows how her egg got there, nor do they know if the mother is alive and waiting for her child.

Dragon Species: Celestial Dragon. She's also the alpha of the dragons that currently reside on the island, due to her size, strength, and how old she is.

Appearance: Glimmer's scales are a silvery white in color, with pale fades of other color on her wings and neck. Her body seems to run from a pale lavender on her back, then down to nearly pure white on her feet. Her eyes are a piercing icy blue that seem to regard you with cautious but suspicious curiosity. Her size is quite massive, being a shape-changing dragon, and in full size can be nearly as tall as 20 feet tall and nearly 25 feet long, with a wingspan of a whooping 30-40 feet. Due to shape-changing, she can shrink smaller, and as to not scare the humans she sticks to be around 7 feet tall and 10 feet long, with a 15 foot wingspan.

Personality: Being a wild dragon for as long as she can remember, she's cautious and wary around humans and other creatures. She tends to never show herself in front of anyone, and only few have managed to catch a glimpse of a silvery tail disappearing into the trees or a pair of icy blue eyes watching from darkness. Unless she trusts you, you'll never fully see her, but she does occasionally fly by to watch the Choosing Ceremony from a special dragon alcove above the arena where the ceremony is held. But she's otherwise curious, and tends to be a bit timid or anxious if someone feels threatening. She can be VERY protective, and if she were to ever bond with someone (which would be EXTREMELY lucky), then she'd be almost territorial or defensive of said rider, like a mother dragon over her eggs; if she had a rider, she'd protect them with her life.

Appearance:

Human form - Being of a larger size (height wise), Kage at first glance would come off as being intimidating, even though it's the complete opposite of what his personality is. He has somewhat fair skin, added to with some cute freckles dotting his cheeks and a bit of his nose. His hair is a bit long in the back and a little on the sides, giving him the appearance of a scruffy yet fluffy animal (if you know Percy Jackson, think Nico Di'Angelo hair). His build is a bit more on the skinny side, though he does have some decent muscle in his arms and legs, but it's not much as he's a tad underweight for his age and height. He's normally found wearing plain white socks with black sneakers, dark grey or black jeans/pants, an elbow length shirt in either some dark shade of blue or purple, black finger-less gloves that reach halfway up his forearm, a dark purple hoodie, a black beanie, and a dark grey colored mask that hides his face (specifically his eyes).

Halfway form - He stands at a towering 8 feet tall in this form, and has a more animal/feral sort of look to his appearance. He has the same eyes as he does in human form. He also has curved black horns like a ram, huge black feathered wings that give an almost 10 foot wingspan, and a dragon-like tail that's also black in color. His tail also ends in a spade shaped point.

Personality: Kage, unlike his "intimidating" appearance, is actually quite the gentle giant type of male. He's very sweet and thoughtful, though he is a bit shy at times, and can be easily flustered if he's caught off guard. Even though he's well guarded and a little scary looking at times, he's a very good listener, and is the type of guy you could vent to without him telling anyone what went down. However, he can tend to be a bit emotional about certain things, especially when someone brings up his past or anything about his family at any given time during a conversation. Otherwise he's quite the sweetheart, and can actually seem quite innocent at times depending on the situation; but who's to say this guy hasn't seen or done a few things that aren't so innocent? ;)

Appearance: Like most elves, she stands tall, yet about average height for a fae, 6 feet. The same slender grace and elegance as an elf, especially when attacking something, but its usually with words however. She has pale-ish golden tan skin and long slightly wavy chocolate brown hair with amber highlights in the sun that reach down to her hips. A streak of turquoise breaks the pattern and her nails are always painted in black with some sort of design in electric blue. Normally seen in a dark hoodie wrapped around her waist, a black t-shirt with some sort of design she made on it and black jeans paired with a black choker with a blue stone embeded in the part that touchs her throat. Violet-blue eyes often look at you cautiously, and scars around her legs often tell stories of past incidents.

Personality: Sera is sarcastic, and has a witty sense of humor. The same eyes that used to hold your gaze with caution, now seems to hold a sparkle in it that can't quite be placed into a look of mischief, or just someone being glad to see you. Once you befriend her, you have now gained a friend for life, but if you betray her twice or hurt her friends, that kind look is now gone, and now a look of anger is in her gaze. But that happens quite rarely, and a usual mask of boredom covers her face when she doesn't know you, but she is listening. She can often be found singing show tunes from broadway under her breath while she's reading, considering that she's obsessed with the theater, but she can't quite hit low notes, and for her, she can only sing soprano. She also enjoys dancing and Only close friends are allowed to call her Lei or Leilani, but nearly everyone calls her Sera.

Backstory: Abandoned on a rainy night outside of a farmhouse, it was a while until the woman heard a melodic wailing outside. A small baby (perhaps just a month old), was soaked, her face squinted and contorted with discomfort until she picked up the child, and rocked it like she had done with her own children. Taking out a note that seemed to not have gotten wet, she breathed slowly, drawing back a piece of hair from the child's head to reveal a pointed ear. At that point she had decided to take it in with no questions.

Personality: If there was ever a perfect pairing of a bond, this would most likely be it. While both are sarcastic, witty, and intelligent, Shade becomes dangerously quiet. She is much calmer and wiser than her human counterpart, but she will blow up like a plasma blast when her rider is threathened or in danger. Each are beautiful but deadly in their own way.

Other: This pack is loyal to her. It is a small pack of 5 wolves. When she grew up to an age where she could be responsible they decided to let her lead. The Alpha became the Beta. She loved her Beta as she raised her. She does love the women who taught her as well.

Appearance: Celeste has waist length black hair with silver tips, always down. She has ice blue eyes and pale skin. She is very graceful and mostly always wear a dark red dress the color of blood that goes down to her ankles (not fancy) and a black leather jacket. Most of the time she wears black combat boots and a thin black necklace. Because she is a vampire, Celeste has fangs, and she's completely unaffected by sunlight. Oh, and her nails are painted a blood red.

Personality: Celeste is fierce and will not take nonsense. She doesn't trust anyone easily but will be nicer once you know her. She doesn't get mad easily, but don't mess with her. Celeste is mostly quiet and prefers the company of dragons over people/humans. She will not tolerate anyone who disrespects her, her friends, or any dragons.

Appearance: A black dragon with navy blue scales, the underside of her wings have white speckles and so does her belly. Winter's wing span is about 35 feet, she has piercing eyes in shades of blue and black. Winter has lighter blue scales along the sides of her tail. Winter has VERY sharp teeth and claws that are navy blue (she can kill you, so don't mess with her). She has a snowflake shaped white scale above her right eye. Most times has dark wisps following her. Winter will learn to not be nocturnal.
Winter's egg was black with swirls of blue and white.

Personality: Extremely fierce, she will not hesitate to kill you or defend herself. She can be shy at first and it will take quite a long time for her to truly trust you. Winter is extremely loyal and will do whatever you want her to do, as long as she trusts you. Winter is very calm even when she is in danger. She is also very serious and does not joke around much, and tends to be a bit sarcastic sometimes.

Appearance: She is a fairly large dragon, having a pattern of lighting across her wings. Her scales are white but tinted with a blue at each end. Vilmersa has dark blue quills to her head and down to her tail tip, she can shoot these quills to a attacker.
Personality: Vilmersa doesn't trust anybody else, except for Glimmer. She has alot of attachment issues and will protect Glimmer at any cost, she knows that she can protect herself but cares alot for her ( Uh, could they be friends? ) Vil is a hard-headed person, and is stubborn, you can try to tame her but it'll most likely fail.

His egg is completely black but a "WW" shape thats white printed all around in one line.

Personality: Is very lively and loves to socialize with everyone he sees. He has a short temper and hates when people step on his tail. He can be mean from time to time if you don't respect him or acknowledge his existence.

Appearance: Omen has sandy skin, with freckles scattered all over her face and body. She has long straight brown hair with green tips. She’s has strong, long legs and stands about 5’7”. Omen was raised as a witch, and usually wears crystals/stones. Her clothes mostly consist of flowy pants or skirts and shirts. Her hair is usually in two braids or a ponytail.
Personality: Omen is very friendly and kind, if not a bit naive. She is bubbly and tries her best to make others happy. She’s also clumsy and always seems to be tripping over her own feet. Her naivety often leads her to trust too quickly or the wrong people.

Appearance: Castor is broad with brown and green scales, and green eyes. He is “built like a tank” and strong. When he gets older moss will start to grow on his scales(kinda like a sloth). Being as bulky as he is, his egg is a bit larger than the others and dirt brown with lighter brown spots.
Personality: He is the definition of calm and mysterious, not giving much in the way of communication. Castor is definitely what’s known as a gentle giant, and has a soft heart. Although, he can get protective due to this.

Appearance:
Shockingly bland, normal, boring, whatever you want to call it; he's not ugly, but he's not someone that catches the eye easily. You just have to look for him.

Dark, slanted eyes, downturned lashes
Clear olive skin (often rather grimy/dusty from working outside)
Overgrown black buzz cut, starting to get a bit messy

Backstory (optional): Lived an incredibly average life before he found out about the dragon academy. So much so that he didn't even really know much about the whole fantasy aspect of the world. I mean, he knew it was there. He just never really interacted w/ it until now! He was thrilled at the opportunity to attend. Came from a relatively poor family.
Other:
Really good driver, good with money.
Persistent and patient with dragons, but not good with them at all. Probably not good with any sort of harder to tame dragon. While it would be nice, he sees all dragons as worthy and awesome beasts, so he's not going to be "picky" with his bond-- even though that's not really a thing.
Can't cook to save his life (at least, not human food). Do not let him within 50 ft of a kitchen if you don't want to smell something awful.

She’s a loving dragon and loves anyone and everyone

Appearance:
She is particularly small for her species, being about 1x the size of a normal adult lioness. Her tail slim with flowers of sorts blooming along the vine that travels down her body from her neck. Her wings are never really used due to the fact she always stays in one place. Her normal colour is a soft shade of Sakura pink with bits of white, a gentle gray red, and other colours colouring her scales. Her horns are curved with little petals along them and will grow as she grows

Personality:
Sakura is a calm and gentle dragon. Being in one spot with the flowers always makes her seem like she’s resting when in truth she’s only just waiting for someone to stop by. Her attitude can change depending on how you approach her
