Alrighty, which site did you use for the cursor? Because most of the time they have the full code already ready to by copy pasted into the main code (like f2u-cursors) If it's your own cursor, I can help you there as well.
Which colors? Like the box colors or the links or regular text?

i used an imgur url, since it worked last time. i wanted to change all the boxes with '55, 171, 59, 0.7' to '129, 214, 129, 0.7' and also the round the text boxes somehow which ive forgotton how to haha ;; and this is what i wanted for my cursor https://imgur.com/a/j4MOkqR
oh, i also tried to change the text (usernames and stuff) in my chat boxes to '58, 110, 58', but that didnt even work

Okay so for rounding, you're going to use
border-radius: 5px;

For the cursor:
* {cursor: url(Cursor URL), auto !important;}

I always find it easier to use hex code with text as opposed to RGBA, so give that a try instead. And for the boxes, the code should be working! You'll probably just have to lower the opacity since it's on a solid background.

No you don't need to use the apostrophes ^^ if it's in the brackets it'll work.
But be careful, you need to post the DIRECT image URL, not just the URL to the image. (right click and do view image for the direct link)

That's a bigger image though, so you'll probably have to change the size of it as well

The usernames one would be this:

a:link, a:visited {
color: #94eba5 !important;
text-shadow: none !important;
}

So looks like you did use hex code, not sure if you're trying to lighten or darken the text but :o looks bright green
