Hankala is a place for everyone. MidKnight the owner of this place and it's caretaker looks after everyone little one of the animals that visit her. She finds them orphaned or injured and brings them to Hankala to recover from their injuries / to teach them everything they need to now how to survive. None of the animal dare to hurt each other even if one is a carnivore and the other prey. MidKnight provides for them.
Now you may wonder how do she gets them to trust her? well she isn't an ordinary human. She can shapeshift and talk with animals.
Hankala is a large area in the woods. There is no enclosures. There is just homes for each of the animals.
If she gets an orphan they sleep with her(unless a broodmother can take them) as they need the warmth of a mother(some exceptions for some mythical young)
The adults may stay and help her take care of the others. The females can become adoptive mothers to young usually their own species. and any of the adults can become hunters catching prey(if carnivore) or collecting plants(herbivore). Any could help collect herbs to heal the injured.
