Voidaria snorted at them. MidKnight gave them a tap of her foot to remind her to play nice for now. She then nickered back.

Baine: *She snorted and pawed at the ground*

Heather: *She got off of Baine, she was much smaller than the Clydesdale and that was quite visible now*

Baine: *She walked off into a large patch of bushes*

Heather: "Don't look in her direction, it'll only make her take longer"

MidKnight said nothing. Blazefang went into the saddlebags. Voidaria stomped her hoof loudly.

MidKnight patted her horse. "We can get going soon" she whispered in her ear.

Baine: *She came back from behind the bush and got low so that Heather could get back on*

Heather: *She climbed back on and smiled* "Well... I'm starving, I'm gonna go back to Dirtwater (if you get the reference, congratulations) you're more than welcome to join us for a while before we hit the train again"

MidKnight whispered to Voidaria. Voidaria snorted.
"I think we will decline your offer. We better get going and find a snake free area so Blazefang can go hunt."

Heather: "Eh, your loss come on Baine lets go back to town, HEEYA"

Baine: *She took off running happily with Heather*

Voidaria pulled on the reins. MidKnight loosen then and Voidaria galloped away where she wanted to go.



Eventually they find an area for the night. Blazefang went hunting catching rodents. MidKnight cleaned herself and Voidaria up. And when Blazefang returned cleared the blood from her fur.

Heather: *She didn't even have to try to stop Baine when she saw the town.... it was a wasteland... abandoned....*

Baine: *she didn't know what was going on... but she didn't like it*

Heather: "Come on..." *She encouraged Baine to continue*

Baine: *She walked forward, she felt spooked and concerned but... safe as well, she kept walking but the more she walked... the more frightened she became*

Heather: "Something's not right..." *She realized that this was not Dirtwater... but a place she had heard about in stories, a ghost town, abandoned, broken, left behind, she heard something running across the road behind them but when she looked... there was no one there, she felt uneasy but she was so full of curiosity... so she kept walking*

Heather: *She kept walking with Baine through the town until she came upon a sign that said 'Beware, all who enter... do not leave' she quickly turned Baine around*

Baine: *She ran as fast as she could, and then stopped, she didn't know why but she did*

Heather: *Not knowing that the sudden stop was coming, she fell off and screamed loudly as her arm broke with a sickening crunch, the scream echoed through the town and outside of it as well, she got up and turned around to see that Baines' eyes were hazed over and her breath was visible despite it not being cold, she turned and ran as fast as she could, not daring to look back, she knew the stories quite well, this had to be an illusion, she knew that if she looked back, she would be filled with guilt... so she ran and ran and didn't stop, she knew that Baine was safe somewhere but she didn't dare go back into the town, not yet.... not alone*

MidKnight was leaning against Voidaria when she thought she heard something in the distance. She turned her head towards it. Blazefang trotted off in That direction. "Blazefang be careful." Blazefang meowed star she would. She headed to the sound.
