RULES
🌊Merfoals are a closed species. You may not create your own, claim the species as yours, or steal adopts that are either owned by other characters or currently up for adoption.
🌊I expect payment for an adopt to be sent within 48 hours of the adoption's ending. If you the winner fail to send the payment, the merfoal you adopted will be sent to the next-highest bidder, or returned to the adoption center, where it will go through the cycle again.
🌊You may NOT change the design of a merfoal once you own them.
🌊 You may NOT remove my signature from the Merfoals.
🌊 If you take them offsite, you can link either to this thread, or to my Youtube as credit.
🌊 Do not resell your Merfoals for more than you bought them for.
🌊 If you resell your Merfoal, please inform me of the new owner, so that I can keep the archive properly updated.
🌊 Please be patient, I'm currently a college student who is also working 35-40 hours a week to pay for my room and board. I'm not going to be on at all hours of the day.

🌊Merfoals are an aquatic equine species. They gather in herds, led by a lead stallion.
🌊 Merfoals come in a variety of traits, which have a rarity system based on the depth levels of the ocean. The traits can be combined, and rarely merged. Merfoals can come in all colors, and typically have natural markings.
🌊 Male merfoals are typically brighter colors, with flashy tails to attract females into their herd. Females tend to be more pastel or faded colors.
🌊 Merfoal herds tend to have varying hierarchies, based on the lead stallion that created the herd, however they always have a form of the following ranks: Lead Stallion (the leader of the herd. sometimes might be a Lead Mare) and Healer (the merfoal in charge of keeping the herd healthy).The first two Merfoals you own must fill either of these ranks.
🌊When you adopt your first Merfoal, you'll head over to our archive and fill out the form there to register your herd. Please keep your herd post updated, as it will be the area I use to officially keep track of who owns what merfoal. I will refer to adoption records in this thread, but I fear losing those, as well as any dms. So the archive is our official thread where you will mark which merfoals are yours. You can also keep any extra information about your herd there!
