As much as I love playing this game, when it comes to spending currency on here it can be a bit of a hassle to really get far since a lot of stuff you need for breeding an etc all cost a lot of gb, an unless you have a proper way to maintain that, it goes pretty fast. So, I was wondering if anyone knew any games similar to Lioden/Wolvden that didn’t require so much resources in order to play. I love the aspect of playing around with genetics and seeing what mutations an whatnot I can get, but sometimes I’d like to just play a bit freestyle, if that makes sense, without having to chance it and spend all my in game currency on a chance.  4 players like this post! The best games atm are lioden wolvden and flight rising being the best . Others that I play are furrypaws, horsereallity and beatskeeper which are good but slow progress. An upcoming game called lorwolf is very similar to flight rising im surprised its not by the same team. Anyway I have tried a lot of game but never liked them enough to continue. If anyone can direct me to games flight rising I would be grateful. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

*Me looking at every single one of these games* Also Wolfplay is good! It has a sorta trading center, explore but its different, it has mini games and more! I have a few recommendations to throw in the ring, though they aren't web-based and you do need to pay an upfront fee. The first one is Wobbledogs. I had been following development for this game since 2015, and since then it has boomed in popularity. You can raise and breed funny little "dogs"! The genetics system is quite powerful, and the music is fun and whimsical. You can also import other people's dogs, and export your own! The second one is Creatures. This one is really old -- the first one came out in 1990! Nevertheless, the artifical life systems have proven the test of time and have yet to be outdone. If you like retro pet games, this series is definitely for you. It goes on sale on GOG.com very often (usually you can pick up the trilogy for less than $5), but you can also buy it on Steam where it is still receiving occasional updates from the new publishers. The Creatures genetic system goes much deeper than appearances. Mutations are often more on the biochemical side; influencing how the creature can interact with the world and how it reacts to different stimulous.
