This is an official clan thread for the Recreating Extinct RLCs Clan! Recreating old, extinct Raffle Lionesses Welcome to the thread where I'll be keeping track of my project to make a true, 100% exact replica of an old raffle lioness that is now extinct! Feel free to reply to this thread, I'll keep the most important info in the main post.
There's also a discord server! Link here~ What I personally define as an extinct raffle lioness I've chosen to specifically try to tackle RLs that there are no breedable clones left of. As long as there is still a breedable clone around somewhere I chose to not consider that lioness as a target, even if the account with the clone is inactive. To me, bringing someone back that it is physically impossible to get a clone of feels the most impactful. If i know someone can log on and "ruin" all my work someday, it's less motivating to work towards. Common questions regarding lioness selection I see a lot of questions floating around regarding whether or not its "okay" to target a lioness for various reasons (someone is already working on her, she's still breedable/not exctinct, she's a private line, not a raffle lioness, etc) and I hope to clarify a bit here. Whatever may be the case with the lioness you want to recreate, you're allowed to recreate her. -> Sure, if someone is already working on her, that might give you less incentive to start your project doing the same thing. -> Sure, if she's still technically got a breedable clone left somewhere, that might give you less incentive to start a project that might be "wasted" some day. -> Sure, if she's a private line, some might claim it's disrespectful to the winner to recreate her when they don't want her to be public. But just like they have the right to not share her, you have the right to try and breed a copy of her. At the end of the day, it's your project, and you're free to do whatever the hell brings you the most joy. Nobody can tell you you're "not allowed" to do a breeding project. I'll be happy to give you advice on how to achieve what you're trying to do, regardless of what it is you're working towards. Click me to be taken to the breeding guide! Oo yeah the buff girl is the one I almost went with before deciding on the noctis girl- let me know if you do try to recreate her! She's stunning but I know she had 1 particular marking that was insanely rare, talking 8 lions with it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

ooo thats awesome! Keep us posted on how it goes >:) I'm slowly having cubs born myself, nothing super noteworthy as of yet but I'm hoping that when my king retires in 2 weeks I'll have at least a 3 marking cub to king! We'll see how this next litter of cubs goes. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I finally had something noteworthy born! I'm excited to show off this cub here. She has 4/8 of the BO markings I need, including the rarest ones: white inverted zebra and white soft unders! :D I'm probably gonna king this one unless I get something even better by the time my king is old enough to retire. He's only got about 2 weeks left though so I doubt it. The cub got some nice extra BO markings too, but I might end up removing them so they dont collide with the project. Either way the cub is honestly really pretty once you fix some opacities and change the base. She happened to get BO skin too so that's a nice bonus ^^ And let me say, its SO COOL people are getting inspired and doing similar projects with different RLs :O May we bring back all the pretty old RLs and start spreading their clones again! 0 players like this post! The goal is to have a cloneable female at the end! And yes, I would probably sell both clones and maybe barked heats in feb if there’s demand for it. But the end product will hopefully be a short heritaged, clean female that is completely indentical to the original RL for all your cloning needs! I’m planning to get the background and everything,you won’t be able to tell a difference. Help is super appreciated! I’d say the main thing is obviously lions with my project marks, if you happen to have any. That would be great help. Further down the line I’ll also need some base apps with the right genetics, black dark solid special. Which app doesnt matter as long as the genetics match noctis so cheaper apps like haruspex work great. Then obviously just straight GB helps:: lets me buy lions, items, but maybe the main thing is to cover all the fees for kinging cubs. My king is retiring soon so the first time it will be free but I’m probably gonna have to spend a lot to bypass the cooldown.
