Please tell me everything

Like, how bad does it hurt? How hard was it to find an artist you liked? Can you tell it is a bunch of needles?

Alright so I'm not the biggest fan of needles either. I got it on my shoulder as you can see so I didn't know I was going to be faced towards the lady. Instead I closed my eyes. I recommend bringing headphones or something too if the noise bothers you. The buzzing noise was actually soothing and ryhtmic which I enjoyed.

Next onto the pain level. I have a low tolerance of pain. Never bad surgeries, broken bones, nothing so I was expecting this to hurt real bad. The placement I got was on more skin/fat. Anywhere that is straight on muscle or bone hurts really bad. So if you start out small it's a better introduction then say getting your ribs done for the first time. Sizing is also important. I chose something 2-3 inches tall and it took maybe 15-20 minutes so not bad.

The initial feeling was a slight pinch and it was repetitive and slightly uncomfortable but not unbearable. The person I had doing mine was really nice and talked to me to distract me the entire time. Since mine was an outline and a fine tip it was only 3 needles. You can have 5 or 7 needles depending on the size or thickness of it which will hurt more. She was also specialized in fine line art which was nice. Finding an artist isn't too hard, my hairdresser and other people had tattoos and I asked them about who they thought was decent and went from there.

The best way I can describe it is a mechanical pencil just putting light pressure on your skin, repeatedly.

It's really about your comfort level and what you think you can handle tattoo and placement wise and finding the right person.

I can also go into cleaning details too if you'd like. I have some more pictures of it actually getting done with some lovely back acne too if you really want to see it. Also don't sike yourself out with YouTube videos or what not. I did that and I got a lot more anxious.

Yeah I was told to do it somewhere you can still show it off if you want but it's less painful and professional for job type thing.

Everyone nade it sound a lot worse than it is. Start small and safe and go from there.

I have the lowest pain tolerance known to man but almost fell asleep getting a tattoo. It literally is different for everyone. Also no don't get your eyeball tattooed least not for your first time LMAO.
