Hi there, I'm fairly new to the game [joined in December, didn't really start truly playing until mid January] and I've noticed that, more often than not, my trades are very overlooked. By this I mean that I can post a trade with the exact same stuff and name as a trade someone else has posted [same price too], and this other person may have a couple people watching their trade and will sell quickly, but I have to bump mine a bunch of times. I've even noticed that my low priced trades are ignored too, while people will be watching and buying the same thing for more than I'm asking. Is there something that I am doing wrong? Sometimes people advertise every ten minutes in the sales chat. Sometimes people spam bump their trades at every possible moment. Sometimes it's just sheer luck. Does this happen with item trades, or just with lion trades? People can be very picky with lions. How long do you usually have to wait before a trade gets bought out? Sometimes you just need to leave it up for a few days, even a week, and it'll sell when you least expect it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The most common reasons a lion won’t sell is based on it’s looks and or heritage. Although heritage has no in game effects a majority or players buy and breed clean lined lions. The primal fangs girl you have for sale for example would be considered dirty as she has multiple instances of inbreeding in her heritage. So if she’s up against a clean lined fangs she’s less likely to be purchased, unless she has specific traits someone is looking for. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It happens with both lions and items :( back when lion balls were selling for a lot, I had mine posted for cheaper than most and it still took forever to sell. My primal fangs girl is priced fairly low (I think) for being a pretty enough mutie. I had a clean smilus cub once that took forever to sell too and it made me sad. Maybe I'll try bumping my trades more. Thank you guys! And I typically have to wait a week or two unless I lower the price and that's even with bumping it a couple times every day :( 0 players like this post! Bluebell, a couple times a day is extremely small amount of bumping, of course your trades wont sell quick. In order for trades to sell fast, you need to bump them preferably every time you can, which is, every 5 minutes.  Competition in trades is huge, your trade will be missed as soon as it falls off the first page which usually happens in under 5 minutes, you need to keep it up on the first page a lot more than couple times a day if you want it to be noticed. 0 players like this post!
