What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
The news post reminded me of the bug I wanted to report! The "Bind" option still appears when I battle the Chthonic snakes even though I'm not on the Essence collection quest anymore.

Any links relating to this bug? For example, if a particular lion is bugging, what is the link to that lion?

I think it may be because I switched deities and redid the Essence quest? It was originally gone before I clicked on Shai's Invocation. It's not happening on my main account where I didn't try to change deities. I was just testing to see how switching gods would work orz
