PLEASE tell me if this is a duplicate suggestion. i've scouted the boards like crazy and have been unable to find a suggestion for muting users; could only find ones for muting forum posts. if this is a dup, i'll delete it asap (if forum mods aren't quicker, that is.

not gonna say much; speaks for itself. i've discussed this with many individuals before, and i believe lioden would greatly improve if there'd be a mute button, specifically for chat. you know. there are users that you'd rather not see pop up in chat due to finding them obnoxious or whatsoever, though you do not want to fully block them from interacting with you in any way. i often try to block everyone who irritates me, though a great ordeal is that this causes both myself and the blocked user to miss out on sales and/or forum posts/comments containing important information. with this i'm suggesting a mute button that makes sure you will not see an user's messages in (main) chat, while not limiting any other form of interaction.
