Hello, everyone! As the title states, I’m looking to hold a contest on designing my heir since designing is not my strong suit.

This is the Heir In question. They are a female now but will be genderswapped of course.



I will try to make this short and simple the best I can, but please read the rules! If your design breaks any of them, I will give you a chance to fix it. Otherwise the design will be ineligible to win


PRIZES
The prize to the winner I pick will be 10 and 5 refunded studs to both my current king and future heir. The runner-up will get just 3 refunded studs to both my king/heir.

RULES
These are pretty simple, but please follow them.

• No BO or RMA marks, all markings must be applicable.
This is simply because BO/RMA marks are difficult to get ahold of and I am not looking to go through all the trouble for them. Please make sure any marks you put on are not BO/RMA.

• No switching existing markings around.
You are totally free to swap any markings you put to your tastes, but please do not interfere with the marking slots of my heir’s current markings. That said, you are allowed to change the opacity of them.

• There is no marking limit, go wild!
I adore designs that have 15 or more markings! That said, this is just a preference and will not totally rule my opinion on your design. Please do not also add in markings for the sake of the marking count going up.

• Please keep your design affordable.
I have no general price range, nor do I have a small budget but I am not looking to pay an arm and a leg for a design. This rule will not cross your expensive design out of the contest but changes will probably be done/cut out so I can afford it if it wins. This is not an enforced rule but more of a heads-up!!

• Please have common decency in this contest.
Fighting each-other over the prizes, designs, or anything in general CAN get you disqualified. I want this to be a fun contest, not a war zone.

You can change just about anything!
Mane color, base, eyes? No problem! Anything is game as long as you do not get rid of the pre-existing markings on my heir.

WHAT I LIKE!

I am a big fan of subtle colorbombs, but I also love dark lions. Purples, blacks, and blues are really pretty to me and I’d love to see some color in the designs while also keeping any dark colors! edgy-looking lions are a big thing for me as well.

Interstellar is a favorite base of mine if that helps any.

I love piebald/patches! While your design does not need to have any mutation (I’ll most likely experiment what it looks like with a mutation) you can put one on if you like.

I love the female poses, but I am also a sucker for designs with the adolescent male pose! Please no adult male pose however..

You do not need to follow what I like! A pretty design is a pretty design. This is just here to tell you what may help you win in your submissions and what’ll catch my eye

I may or may not follow the winner’s design exactly. I may change something around and whatnot, so please be aware of that. However I will still generally follow your design!

This will end whenever I feel like I have enough submissions and a winner. Please be aware I may not pick any if none of them catch my eye, but that has a really small chance of happening.
