Lately I’ve been noticing I run out of energy so much more quickly than usual. I understand during encounters certain actions deduct a small amount of energy, but even if I attack the aardwolf for the tail I lose 20+ energy! I’m not sure if that is normal or not

Any time I go into explore any kind of encounter that is choice like the ardwolf one where I can pounce on it or some other option I lose more than just a little bit of energy! It doesn’t matter on any encounter sometimes (more than often) I get deducted 20 or more energy from my bar.
