Giving a nod in understanding, Kira stalked over quietly to the hole. Paws moving silently on the ground, ears pricked up and claws unsheathed. 'We'll see if it's a success', she thought. Getting in position she waited for the next move. Kira was nearly salivating in anticipation, she was hungry and ready for her next meal.

She stalk towards the mouse,keeping her paws steady and quiet. she soon perk her ears as the mouse sniffed the air. the mouse walked a few steps close to were Kira was,not realizing she was there. the mouse grabbed a acorn and tried to walk to the hole. the mouse bumped into Kira and squeaked. the mouse tried to run away.

Eyes never leaving the mouse, Kira crouched and let the mouse get a few pawsteps ahead. Wiggling her flank in preparation she pounced, trapping the mouse under her paws. The stray purred in delight, finally another meal. Lowering her head she gave the mouse the final blow with a quick bite to the neck. Eating half in a few bites, Kira picked up the other half, dropping it near Finch to share. "Thanks for your help, you're not so bad I guess".

The she shook her head and pushed the mouse to her. ‘you can have the rest,i’m not that hungry. ur not as bad either.’ Finch smiled and letted her ears perk. ‘we make a pretty good team,don’t we? and your welcome,i always feel free to help cats in need’. She dip her head to her.

Kira nodded her head in thanks and gratefully devoured the rest of the meal. 'Maybe kittypets aren't so bad?', She rolled her eyes at the ridiculous thought. Harden by her past and current life on the street, it was hard to start trusting others. Getting rid of those thoughts, Kira cleaned her face to get rid of the evidence of her meal. Satisfied she padded towards the exit of the alley, "Don't get cocky now, it was only one hunt" no malice found in her voice. She pointed her tail in the direction they should head, "Thanks. Now it's my turn to hold up my end of the deal. Let's go." With that she started walking, knowing the other would follow.

Finch flicked her ear then followed after her,staying slowly behind her. ‘so how is it like living as a loner?’ She didn’t want to ask to many questions but she was curious how it was in the wild. ‘have you ever met any other loners? maybe even clan cats?.’ She slowly step forward and started to walk beside her. ‘and i’m not getting cocky,ur the one who sounds cocky.’ She laugh,trying to cheer up the loner.

The loner let out a quiet sigh, she was used to being alone but now an excited kittypet was following her for the time being and asking questions. What did she do to deserve this? Kira couldn't be all that upset, she just ate and Finch was slowly starting to grow on her, but still slowly. She was half listening, paying more attention to where they were going but her ears perked up at the mentions of her being cocky. The stray let out a laugh, "Of course I'm cocky, I'm allowed to be....And I can prove it". Letting out a playful yowl as her only warning, Kira pounced on Finch and quickly ran a few feet away. "Catch me if you can kitty~!", she said before running.

They were leaving the more cramped side of town full of buildings and entering a less densely populated area with more space. Soon they would reach the clearing that was connected to the forest.

The kittypet watched her sighed and letted her ears pin down slightly. “im asking to many questions?..” the she thought then jumped out whenever Kira jumped on her and ran off. She get up and shook her fur,getting the dust out then playfully hissed,running after her. ‘I will catch you!’ The white and gray cat ran after the she,making sure not to trip over rocks and sticks.

After she ran after her for a few minutes,she slow down and looked around. her eyes sparking with amazement. ‘wow.. this looks so.. beautiful..’ she keep following after Kira,getting more excited.

After entering the clearing Kira did a short stop. Sparring a glance behind to make sure Finch was close by, she raised her head to sniff the air and survey the area. Finding the hidden path and dodging and leaping over boulders and branches she finally reached the destination. Coming out of the bushes, a pond could be found. A broken tree trunk acted as a bridge over the water, with moss and vines hanging from the nearby trees. Kira climbed onto the trunk to sit and turned to Finch, "Here we are, just as promised"

She looked around,being more amazed by the scenery. she soon look at Kira and crouched by the river,watching the fish swim around. she playfully paw at the fish and giggled whenever one splashed her. ‘How did you find such a beautiful place like this?..’ She sit up,looking up at Kira. ‘Its even more beautiful then what my Housefolks described this area..’

The stray gave a snort at that, "Your housefolks wouldn't know what beauty is. Besides, it's their kind that keeps destroying the areas.". Getting riled up wouldn't do her any good, giving her chest a few licks to calm down Kira answered, "I was exploring and chased off a fox, while chasing them I found this area". She sat up proudly and puffed out her chest, waiting for the praise from the other she cat.

The white cat ears went down. ‘oh.. so thats what those big yellow things do?..’ she look over at the water and thought for a few seconds. she shake her head,getting out of her thoughts and looked up at her. ‘Wow! that’s cool! how big was the fox? did it try to hurt you?!’

Kira assumed an air of indifference, "Oh yea it was nothing for a cat like me. He stood twice as tall as me and tried attacking!". Getting more into the story telling the loner began to swat and jump in the air in demonstration, "We tussled, and I hit him with this and a little of that". Kira swiped left then right, then rolled over, "I was too much for the fox so he started running and i chased him till I gave up". Doing the physical activities made her winded so she went over towards the pond for a drink.

Finch looked at her,her ears perking with excitement. ‘Wow! thats so cool! i wish i could have seen it! i bet it would look very amazing!’ She jumped around,bursting with excitement then stood still and looked at her. ‘Have you ever thought about living with House-folks or just with.. anyone?..’ She look at her and walked beside her,sitting down. ‘You could get really hurt out here from anything,like badgers or snakes.. maybe even clan cats..’ She look over to were the clan border line was and sighed.

She let out a purr from the praise but the sound was cut short. "Oh please", Kira huffed out, ears pinning down. "I'm not that weak!". Her tail moved side to side in irritation. "I'd rather run straight into a clans territory than ever live with two-legs", she spat. Her? Living with those monsters? 'Ridiculous, never again', she thought to herself. She'd never allow herself to live with humans! Not after what she witnessed...what she experienced...Kira's memories were all coming back to her, seeing it all again in her mind left her in a rage. She couldn't hold back the snarl. Struggling to compose her anger, Kira removed herself from Finch side to walk to the other end of the trunk for space. She sat with her back facing the other. "I think you should go," the strays voice coming out harsh while her body remained tense.
