Hello Adore, I’m the current owner/vendor of Quartz.
I’ve thought it over and as much as I love seeing lions go to good homes, I do want to be fair to everyone, so I can’t sell her for half asking when other lions have sold for the original asking.

I understand but I think the word "auction" is being misused if you aren't going to sell them lower than the buyout price. It doesn't seem fair to bid on a lion, set the funds aside and wait for an end date when you decide as you can't sell her lower than the buy out price. That's just a flat sale and it's a little misleading to call it anything else.

It feels rather unfair that I could have spent that time and money elsewhere instead of waiting on an auction then being told no never mind I didn't get as much as I wanted. If you aren't going to accept lower than a certain price that shouldn't be called an auction as the exact definition is "a public sale in which goods or property are sold to the highest bidder."

Due to frequent complaints and requests, I'm aiming to revamp this auction and adjust how it works

The no timer rule for muties is being adjusted to allow for everyone to enjoy potentially great deals on pretty clean muties, especially those with little time or only so many funds. However, due to this change, the starting bids of all lions will be upped. This will still be below value, but until I see enough activity to warrent lowering it further, it will be at least 2/3s of the muties rough value. Minimum increases will be left as is, between 100-200 sb each, so that plenty of bidders can try to fight for the top before the lion becomes too expensive!

With these new rules, All lions will have roughly a week after first bid before it ends, and a note will be made as soon as starting bid is called for when the auction will end, for everyones sake. If the lion in question is still weening, or a cub, the auction will run until they would turn 2 in irl days (incase someone misses a rollover.) This will avoid having to wait for nursing mothers

With this, auto buys will be a good chunk above value if you want to outright ensure a sale because it is a dream lion! ab's will be uncontested, but more pricey, to encourage everyone to auction. I do however understand wanting to make sure you get a perfect lady.

With all of this, I hope everyone can enjoy the auctions more! if the old system works better it will be reverted, but the lion starting bids will only get cheaper the more activity and bidding there is!
