Azailia
Watching the young cubs play around was quite entertaining. She turned her head and noticed Manyari walking back to the trees dragging a calf. Her mouth began watering as she called the cubs over. Although a bit reluctant to stop playing they both ran over quickly.

Azailia stood up and stretched their aching body. Flicking her ears she stood in front of the cubs and waited for her partner to reach them, her eyes both happy, to see her mate and to see a fresh kill. She swayed her little tail attempting to keep the cubs entertained while they waited.

Manyari

The tired lioness greeted her small pride with a chirp-like sound, dropping the calf. "Hi lovelies! Dig in!" She stretched her sore muscles and ripped off a large chunk for the cubs, dropping it a little bit away for them, so they wouldn't have to get as dirty with the carcass.

Her tail swaying against the ground she waited for her mate to eat first, though her stomach protested with another hunger-induced cramp, the faint taste of buffalo making her mouth water, she was ravenous.

"We need to find water soon, maybe I can go looking after we eat?" She thought outloud, sitting and curling her tail around her lean body.

Munuvo
The eager cub bounced over to their mothers, Bentley not far behind, excitedly ripping meat off the chunk Mom dropped for them, he was hungry after playing for awhile, and could use a nap too, but he was thirsty.

Azailia
Azailia bent down and ripped some of the calfs' tender meat off of its bone. Noticing her partners hesitation to feed, she tossed the piece over to her. She gave a little smile before ripping a piece off for herself. Her rumbling stomach finally silenced after hours of hunger. As they ate they kept an eye out for the cubs, making sure the two of them were eating alright.

Taking a pause from eating Azailia looked up her mouth a bit bloody. "I can go look for some, it shouldn't be too far from where we are." She said a bit quickly. To be honest she needed a break from the cubs, she wanted to do something by herself. Something that was helpful to their small pride. She took one more bite of her meal before setting it to the side and flicking her ears, awaiting an answer.

Bentley
The young cub quickly ran over to where the meat was lying. He wasn't starving but he was defiantly hungry. He quickly began eating, his tail swaying with each chew. 'This is so yummy!' He thought to himself. He wasn't very aware of his own needs. So he was unsure why his mouth was dry and why his tummy hurt. No matter, he continued eating with out much worry.

Manyari
She chirped happily, flicking Azailias flank with her tail in a 'thank you'.

"Alright, you can go look. Just... Don't go too far?" Her voice got quieter as she spoke, she didn't want to control her partner, but anxiety still raked at her. "Just be careful love." She corrected herself sharply, speaking more confidently. Digging back into her meal.

________________lets just say it's been like ten minutes, and Mama's have finished eating because I can only explain how their eating so many times lmao

Munuvo
Munuvo finished eating, his belly full and eyes heavy, he was ready for a nap, but failed miserably at cleaning the blood off his fur, so stumbling on tired paws he made his way to their mamas, flopping down on moms paws, looking up at her freckled face with his similarly dotted one stained with blood.

His mom smiled softly, he grinned back, her rough tongue raking over his neck and head, soothing him until he fell asleep.

Sensing their mate was worried they gently nodded. "I'll be fine love, don't worry" She smiled and continued munching her meal.

Genting up, she walked over to Bentley who was sitting by the remains of the meal still. He looked up at her and stuck his messy tongue out playfully. Azailia looked down at him and giggled softly before licking his slightly blood covered face. After he was semi clean she picked him up by the scruff, and carried him over to Manyari. He complained, stating he could walk on his own but Azailia just ignored his wines. Setting him down gently next to their mate, they looked up at her. "I'm going to look for some water now. I'll be right back, okay?" She stood and swayed her tail awaiting conformation from her partner.

Manyari
Manyari wrapped her paws around the cubs, giving them a small area to sleep in, and gave her partner a reassuring grin- though it might have been more reassuring for her own sake.

"I trust you, Zale. It's not that..I- I know you'll be okay." She curled tighter around her cubs, who snuggled tighter together, sleeping soundly to the sound of their new home.

Manyari did really trust her, she trusted Azailia with her life, and she knew the lioness could fend for themself, but it didn't stop the deep-rooted fear that something or someone would come after her and her babies. They were all she had and she adored them, she just wanted to hold them all and never let them go, protect them from the world- though she knew she couldn't, and that she had to let go, so she bit her tongue and tried ignoring the gnawing anxiety, soothing herself by grooming her cubs.

Should this be there home? Or should they end up having to move because there's no water/not enough prey? Like they find a better place with water and shade or is this the good place? If that makes any sense lmfao//

Azailia smiled and gave a small nod before turning away from her small pride. She began the search for water, there had to be some nearby. The patch of trees they were in was a bit larger than she had first thought. She searched all around for a small lake, a stream perhaps? She'd even be happy with a large puddle. But she didn't find anything.

After a couple minutes of searching she started feeling pretty upset. 'How could there be no water in this stupid area' she complained to herself. She sighed and decided it was best to get a higher view point. She turned to a small tree, it wasn't too tall but it was definitely strong enough to support her weight. Digging her claws into the tree she climbed up it slowly. If any other lion were to see her they'd ought to think she was a leopard. She snickered quietly at the thought of that.

Sitting comfortably high in the tree, she searched the area with her eyes. Scanning over lots of terrain. " Are you kidding me.? There is literally no water here.." she said out loud and annoyed to herself. With some more grumbling she quickly jumped down from the tree. She began the slow walk back to her tiny pride. Unsure how to let them know they needed to walk more, she was sure they were exhausted. She shook her head gently trying to calm herself.

And I'm thinking they move again :] It just seems more realistic that there would be issues with the first location/they're not lucky with getting everything they need immediately. So yeah I think they should move again! Plus that might be safer getting even further away from the toxic pride
