Serenerabbit ”My day has been rather peaceful.. shockingly. I have had twice as less patients as I usually do, which is typically a super rare occurrence. Heavy’Claw|Corvidclan|Warrior A pleasant look started to form on the brown cats face. He was happy for them that they were having a peaceful day. He nodded with a grunt to the comment of people becoming more conscious. It was good the clan was becoming more aware of the way they weren’t thinking clearly. Heavy’Claw remembered a time where a cat didn’t eat and thought they were horribly sick. He then remembered the rant he gave about how important eating was and to not waste the medicine cats time. It was times like those he sympathized for the medicine cat. It certainly seemed like a hard job to do and the large Warrior respected Serene’Rabbit for it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Cometpaw / HawkClan / Medicine Apprentice Cometpaw inched closer to the plant Myrtlemask had indicated was goldenrod. He bent over and took a whiff, attempting to memorize the scent and appearance of it in his head. The apprentice tentatively nipped the bud with his teeth, feeling out the end of the stem and pulling the necessary part away. Serenerabbit A low sigh emanated from the medicine cat. “Sometimes I wonder what would’ve happened if I took the path of a warrior. Every now and then I envy those who are. They don’t have to follow a strict medicine cat code, or be deprived from several hours of sleep because of a kit who’s fallen seriously ill.” She murmured, tracing her claw along the earth that laid beneath her. Distant memories of her medicine cat apprentice ceremony flashed through her head as she grew silent, waiting for Heavyclaw’s response. Heavy’Claw|Corvidclan|Warrior Heavy’Claw frowned deeply as he listened to them. His ears twitched ever now and then picking up on the lower tone of their voice. The Tom didn’t realize how they felt about their role as a medicine cat. Destiny was a strange thing, it sometimes can be cruel and unfair rather then good and beneficial. “S’okay.. ta’ feel…like.. that.” He spoke slowly. The warrior watched the other closely. He wasn’t great at comforting others, hell most of the time when he tried it didn’t even come off as comforting. So when Heavy’Claw spoke to the medicine cat, he tried thinking about how his mother would speak to him. “Understand..” He commented after the long pause. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Heavy’Claw|Corvidclan|Warrior He grunted softly at Serene’Rabbit, happy that he’d said the right things. His muscles relaxed now free of anxiety. The large cat paused once he was asked the question. He really never thought of it much, usually just did what he was told. The Tom sat quietly deep in thought, thinking of a good answer. “S’hard.. lot ta’…do and.. hm” He paused himself. “Can be fun.. but…lots of.. work. Like.. patrolin.” Heavy’Claw thought back to previous patrols his ears flattening a bit. Anything could happen on patrols. Enemies, predators, twolegs- the list could go on. “Over-..whelming…if not trained.. right.” He answered. “Dangerous to…y’need strong.. mental.” He thought about hunting afterwards. He enjoyed hunting quite a lot, more then the other jobs warriors had. “Like huntin…s’fun.” Heavy’Claw added. He really enjoyed hunting for the clan and making sure everyone was fed. In his opinion though both jobs were hard and required a certain set of skills, but again they’d never know which was harder. He looked down at the pheasant between his paws. Cometpaw / HawkClan / Medicine Apprentice Cometpaw giggled at the thought, relieved that he had impressed Myrtlemask, or at least carried out the picking correctly. He did notice a slight tang on his tongue and deduced it was from the goldenrod itself. It didn't linger long, however.
