When you successfully claimed a lioness, what if the heritage has a chance of listing the father as one of your sub males ( if the sub male in question is older than the NCL. )??

Maybe sometimes one of her great ( great great? ) grandfathers could just so happen to be one of your sub males from the dynasty ( still not a guarantee tho )

I believe this isn't sub male breeding, which is already rejected, this is technically a different suggestion because you don't see him breeding or you can't control if he breeds or not for that matter and also the mother would still be unknown too.

This suggestion has 1 support and 60 NO supports.

The point of NCLs is that they don't have heritage, lol.

Why? Genuine question. How would that benefit the player? If it’s random chance it’s not like the ncl would get any marks from your submale and the point of NCLs is that they’re heritageless

Sorry, no support for the valid reasons others have made.

NCLs are desired because they have no heritage.

Maybe one of Wenet's cousins could have the father be one of your sub males? Her mother and father is unknown, and it's unknown how many siblings she has, but many are most likely lionesses.

This would still likely count as sub male breeding to the admins, and would have no point in-game as one of the main points of NCLs, raffle lionesses, and event-claimed lionesses (such as Wenet and her cousins) is that they have 0 heritage- no parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc.
No support.

...Well, I it isn't the same suggestion since you can't just control when or if you get a nlc or one of Wenet's cousins and the father being one of your sub males

" The point of event-claimed lionesses (such as Wenet and her cousins) is that they have 0 heritage- no parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc.

This also irks me and makes me confused as heck. If Wenet's cousins has no heritage, how do we KNOW that this lioness is REALLY Wenet's cousin???!!!

The mother and her side of the grandparents will be heritageless since... well what a cousin needs to be a cousin is the mother being Wenet's aunt/uncle adopted or not.

The father being your submale doesn't have a point though, from any perspective. If your submale has, say, Ebony base and Feline 6 Noctis, and the lioness has Zarasa base and Under White 4, it is completely irrelevant for the submale to be listed on there. Some players would think "Hmm weird" and leave it at that, while many others would be disappointed that their NCL is 2nd-gen for some reason.

Regardless of whether or not the mother is Unknown, the lion is still 2nd generation. With this implemented, a lot of mass NCL breeders would then have to check the heritage of every NCL they breed (if they care about heritage, which a lot do). Mass CRB project breeders could accidentally get a G3 Double Uterus instead of a G2, which unfortunately lowers the value. You can get a G3 DU through multiple sources - breeding to a G2 DU with a lion scrotum is one of them, and it's far easier than relying on random chance. G2 DUs are ONLY available from random chance, be it from a CRB, GMO Cow, or nothing at all. So they are more exclusive, which means they're worth more. I'd be furious if I spent a ton of money on CRBs and got what I thought was a G2 DU that ended up being a less valuable G3.

We know that Wenet's Cousin is her cousin because... she says so. It may not be a satisfying answer, but that's how it is. We don't need additional Wenet family members introduced. Would her parents show up as "Wenet's Aunt"? Or "Wenet's Cousin's Father"? We also don't know if her cousin is more distantly related. "Wenet's Cousin's Aunt, Twice-Removed"? Lol. We don't know because it's not important. And it would piss a lot of players off if their previously heritageless lion now had random, unimportant names added to her heritage.

Well, this would only happen to new cousins/lionesses who are claimed in future, it won't happen to previous NCLs.

That would still make many players mad, to put it in lightly. It would be an unwelcome change for many people, and serves no real in-game purpose, either practically or aesthetically.

The point of NCLs and Wenet Cousins (or "cousins", if we're being specific) is that they are lions/lionesses (taking Groupies into account as well) with 0 heritage, both in relation to player's lions and in relation to random, NPC lions that may or may not exist.

If you want your lions/lionesses to not be first gen, while still being NCLs/Groupies/Wenet Cousins, you can always make lore on your account and generate random names for potential family members. I did this when I started out, and it made things super fun as I got to make up a bunch of lore relating to every pride member I had.
