NEPHILIM BASE

This base marries October's Heaven and Hell into a base inspired by the offspring of Angels and Demons. I am aware that the name of the base is also used for the offspring of angels and mortals, but I have seen it used in fiction in both ways so I'm quite set on it! I chose deep purple with reddish undertones and a bright undershine because I feel it mixes the sinister, dark bases of the event nicely with the illuminated ones. It has some gritty texture like some of the hell parent bases and some sparkles inspired by the angelic sparkles decor and the theme of the heaven bases as well as the speckles in Brimstone.

Suggested origin: Combo base breedable throughout the year, but released in October. Potentially
a very slightly boosted rate in October.

This base would be [Demonic/Brimstone/Bloodbourne/Haunted] x [Angelic/Heavenly/Argent/Isabel].

I know that Haunted, Argent and Isabel might seem thematically out of place; my reasoning for Haunted is that it brings to mind possession. Argent is a word for silver that I strongly associate with 'holy' and 'paladin' type concepts, probably picked that one of up from fantasy centric media. Isabel the base refers to 'isabelline' animals that are pale in their colouring, but as a name, it means 'Devoted to God'. I also needed at least one common in here, so bear with me.

The spoiled section takes the base apart a little for the dev team. The sparkle effect is a specific brush in Krita and the sparkles are colour dropped from the darker yellow and the lighter yellow present in the base. I left them in on the first two images just to show their distribution; they do sit on top of everything else. The crumbly effect of the yellowish undercoats is made with a normal brush first followed by a watercolour grain blend brush that breaks it apart into that pattern.
