Moongaze layed there and whispered the kit to stay safe. She stood and left through the den walls, makeing her way back to the caron place. Stone stood and leaped down once she got back. "Good, check in whenever to get info."

The next morning, Doveflight went to check on the kit and Moongaze, but Moongaze was gone and the kit was left shivering. She took it to heart that she'd take care of the kit. "I'm your mother, Frostkit. I'll be the best mother you could think of and make you so loyal to Mountainclan that you won't know what hit you."

Frostkit gazed up at Doveflight with wide unblinking eyes. She smiled and mewed in understanding. She wasn't that young maybe 1 or 2 moons at most.
Stone smiled, his plan would be executed once this kitten learned to be an apprentice.

Doveflight nuzzled Frostkit. A tear slipped down her cheek as she felt a motherly connection to the young kit. Frostkit reached out and touched Doveflight's nose with a small mew. A smile fell over Doveflight as she felt her worries fade away.

Frostbite nuzzle up to Doveflight and fell asleep purring softly, this was so much better than the stinky, gross, dangerous home before. This was sweet and relaxing.

Timeskip to Frostkit's apprentice ceremony //

"All cats old enough to climb, gather underneath the Highcliff for a clan meeting! Frostkit, step forward. You have reached the age of six moons and are ready to be apprenticed. From this day onward, until you receive your warrior name, will be known as Frostpaw. Your mentor will be Featherstripe. She is one of our strongest warriors. Valepaw, Kindlepaw, step forward. You have both completed your training and are ready to receive your warrior name. From this day onward, you will be known as Valestorm and Kindlesprint! Frostpaw! Valestorm! Kindlesprint! Clan dismissed." Rootstar said.

Frostpaw bounded out of camp towards the road, she met up with Moongaze, "I'm Frostpaw now mom! Isn't that cool!" Moongaze smiled and nudged Frostpaw, "It is very. Go on back now, get your training in, tell me everything tonight." Frostpaw nodded and left happily.

Okay... but sooner or later Doveflight will find out and banish Moongaze from seeing Frostpaw, and she will tell Frostpaw everything she's ever heard from Moongaze was a lie //

Featherstripe coldly looked down at Frostpaw as soon as the apprentice ran into camp. "Where have you been, Frostpaw? I searched for you all over camp. Don't tell me you're conspiring with rogues. You smell like one." she snapped.

Frostpaw panted and crouched low at her snapping, "I fell into fox dung! I thought if I hunted somthijg for you first day you'd be impressed!" She stood and groomed her rising chest fur.

Featherstripe glared down at Frostpaw. "You're lucky you were apprenticed to me instead of Doveflight. She trains much harder than me. Valestorm barely survived his training with her. Battle training at the Dead Spruce. NOW!" she roared. She led the way to the Dead Spruce and explained a few moves.

"Valestorm said she was an awful mentor, I'm glad mom's not my mentor." She huffed sitting down. "Your not any better though..." she added silently, her tail flicking agenced the floor.

"Doveflight was trained that way by our old deputy, Rustfur. He helped her crush her kittypet life and exposed all her weaknesses to make her strong. She loves you, Frostpaw." Featherstripe paused to let her words sink in, and she went back to her shouting. "Now... FIGHT ME."
