“It started with the whispering. The strange whispers and groans that would come from the mountains. It would only happen at nighttime. I’d hear them while I was trying to sleep, whispering to me, urging me to follow them. Then.. The disappearances. Cats would go missing seemingly out of the blue. We’d hear screaming coming from the mountains, and then they’d turn back up in the territory a couple of days later.. Mauled, practically unrecognizable sometimes, by whatever it is that lives in those mountains. Something awful is happening here. Something.. horrific.”

Welcome to The Endless Valley! A semi-literate - literate roleplay hosted on discord. This is a 14+ roleplay as it contains themes of death, violence, disease, famine, and possibly other triggering topics. It is a dice based roleplay where rolling dice will be the deciding factor in many different scenarios such as fights, hunting, recovery, life vs death, etc.. We hope to see you soon.

FOG’CLAN
Fog’clan resides in a vast and large valley sheltered between towering mountains and large pine trees. Fog’clan was once a very peaceful and loving clan, not fearful of anything that their old territory held. Moving to the valley territory changed these cats though.. They grew fearful, and untrusting of their leader and fellow clanmates. Cats had divided opinions on what they should or shouldn’t do. Now, Fog’clan lives in fear, spending the majority of their nights on edge, refusing to leave camp alone.

ABOUT THE ROLEPLAY
When Fog’clan was forced to evacuate their old marsh territory due to a mass flood, they ventured far and wide to find the perfect place to call home. Eventually, stumbling upon a beautiful valley with protection from the mountains. The cats were overjoyed to have finally found a place to call their new home. A place to be able to relax. However, The peace didn’t last long..

A couple weeks after Fog’clan moved into the territory, cats began reporting a feeling of uneasiness coming from the mountains. They began having nightmares, claiming to be hearing voices beckoning them to go into the mountains.
Cats began to suddenly disappear without a single trace, just vanishing in the night. Then, they’d turn up a couple of days later in the territory. Some were horribly disfigured, unrecognizable even. Some were drowned in the nearby pool of water. Some even hung from tree tops as if they were decorations.

It doesn’t end there though.. Already in a state of panic, A new illness soon arose. A seemingly incurable disease that was quickly eradicating their clans numbers. The symptoms were relentless and excruciating, and with there being no cure, many cats were instead banished out into the woods to die alone. Away from the eyes and ears of their already traumatized clanmates.

When the clan sends out patrols to try and find a new territory to relocate to, but instead the patrols report that they just kept circling back to the same location, How will cats react when they find out there is no escaping this hell?
