Flora kneels beside Abbi and stays silent for a moment before speaking, “you did the right thing. He was in pain, Abbi…” Flora left Abbi to grieve for a moment and started digging a hole, a nice grave for the boy. She picked a few flowers and when she was done she returned to Abbi and the boy. She handed her the flowers then kneeled down to pick up the boy. She gently set him in the grave and started shoveling dirt over him, then set the flowers on top of the grave.

"The sun will start rising soon, we have to go." Abbi said, Sniffling and picking up her bag. They arrived at the city at 6:30 am. "We should hide in the hospital. It's huge, no one would find us there."

“I don’t know Abbi… it’s a hospital. I mean, wouldn’t infected people be in there?” Flora questioned. It was a good reason not to go in there, but really she just hated hospitals. “Maybe we can go into…. A gas station or something. We can restock there!”

"Flora, the hospital is the best place, there's beds, bathrooms, food and everything. we have to." Abbi pulled flora along.

Walking into the waiting room, they find it completely destroyed. Chairs thrown everywhere, front desk broken into bits, and the vending machine lying on it's back with the glass shattered and half the stock on the floor. Abbi throws her hair into a bun and walks over to the steps. "C'mon cupcake." she smiled.

Flora frowned, but eventually shuffled over to the vending machine. She pulled a dagger from her belt and stabbed it through the glass then reached through to grab the food. A couple shards of glass cut her fingers, but she ignored it and started putting food in her bag.

"Make sure you grab some burger rings!" Abbi said. leaning at the entrance to the staircase waiting for her.

Abbi lay on a hospital bed twiddling her thumbs. " So which way was it to the mountains again?"
"North." Said Flora. "Hmm, okay." she said, "Let's go explore." Abbi jumped up and grabbed her bag. "It's boring in here."

"P-shaw!" Abbi said, "Everyone that used to live here is long gone, and I've been training you for 2 years now, you're 18, you can handle any zombies." Abbi frowned. "Plus, I'm really bored and it's ages till night. You don't have to come with me." Abbi smiled knowing Flora wouldn't want to be alone.

“…fine.” Flora folded her arms and followed Abbi through the halls of the hospital. They looted a few rooms and got some medical supplies and more food.
Flora had relaxed a little and was following behind Abbi. “I think these are the last patient room on this floor, will you search that one at the end of the hall?” Abbi went ahead and flora stayed to search one of the last rooms. She checked behind the bed and in cabinets. Eventually she opened a drawer and found a stack of papers. They looked important. She was about to start reading them before she heard rustling behind her. She flipped around and a large zombie came crawling through the vents. It was terrifying, unlike any zombie she had seen before. She slowly folded up the papers and put them in a pocket on her bag, then pulled out her dagger. She could take him. It was just one zombie, after all. Then more started pouring out of the vents. A LOT more.

Abbi head loud sounds and then Flora's scream coming from the room, she immediately ran room to room until finding flora about to be bitten by a huge hulking male zombie. Abbi immediately shot the zombie in the head excessively. "Are you okay, Flora?!" She yelled while taking on another 5 zombies, a chubby female resembling a nurse, a teen-age boy with one leg, A bearded old man and two doctors. Flora was stuck in the corner with a zombie towering over her.
She stabbed it in the top of the head and had blood splash on her face when he fell down. she kicked him to the side heading to help Abbi before realising she was bitten.

They finished off the last few zombies and ran, Flora grabbed her bag and the papers and followed Abbi out of the room and up the stairs away from the zombies. Flora collapsed to the grab and began frantically looking around for any other vents or zombies. “Phew… sorry Abbi. I didn’t think tha-“ she glanced down at her arm and went silent. It had a huge bite mark in it and was bleeding excessively.

" FLORA!!" Abbi screamed. Abbi only called Flora by her name in serious situations. Abbi frantically searched her bag for water, she found a bottle and started washing the bite, trying to remove even a little infection if possible. "Should i bandage it? what do i do?!!" Abbi's eyes were watering. "No no no no no!!"

Flora was stunned silent. She just stared at her arm, not saying anything. But her breathing was increasing and tears started forming at the edge of her eyes. Abbi was frantically trying to clean the wound but Flora just sat there and cried.

Abbi jumped up and search the whole room for medicine "Rabies, rabies, RABIES!!" Abbi threw the medicine to the floor in anger. "How do you feel?? Are you okay?!" Abbi said with a wet face. "You're okay, RIGHT?! FLORA?!"

Flora was going pale, but she was still conscious. “Mhm… I’m fine…” she reached into her bag to take a sip of water, but the papers from earlier fell out. Flora set the water bottle down and picked up the papers with her good arm and started slowly reading the words, but her mind was growing fuzzy and she couldn’t really tell what it said.
