Hi! Looking to start doing some USD comms soonish, and was wondering what platforms I should use for the money side of things. I was going to use Carrd or Artistree, though I’m not sure how all of that works and if I should go with PayPal, stripe or both, or just PayPal. I don’t really understand half of the stuff I look up so I thought I’d ask since alot of people on here are more well versed in all of this stuff. i strongly suggest paypal. I have used paypal, venmo and cashapp and paypal is the best. it is proffessional and highly reliable. Paypal is also free and super eacy to set up I wouldnt suggest cashapp just because they have stolen money from me twice before. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have never heard anything bad about paypal and i have been using it for the past 3-4 years. Not sure what you heard, but I wouldnt trust anything else. I only know about cashapp, venmo and paypal. both cahsapp and venmo has ripped me of my money and cashapp stole a total of 400 dollars from me. Paypal also automatically translate the diffferent currencies around the world which makes it easy to send to other countries 0 players like this post! Like? |

i've only used paypal, though i have heard pretty credible frets about it. you might want to google "paypal/venmo/cashapp pro and cons" and see what multiple sites have to say about them. most people ive commissioned use paypal, though, and ive been commissioning people for 5 years. it's very popular 1 player likes this post! Definitely looks like PayPal is the best option then, are there any opinions on if I should go through artistree or just PayPal? I was thinking artistree might be helpful for just the general layout of my commission types n all that? 0 players like this post! Like? |

i'll be honest, i've never heard of artistree! i've mostly commissioned people through deviantart, toyhouse, or links to their carrd. i think anything will work fine though as long as it's clean and you can view it without making a profile :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

It seems pretty easy to use, with a clean setup and easy enough to understand stuff, I think I might go through there then! Thank you for replying though, it really helps to just talk about stuff with people to figure out what to do sometimes!  1 player likes this post! Like? |
