It's a day like any other. The sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, but you happen to notice something off. The birds aren't singing. During your lunch break, you decide to take a quick hike in the forest. You hear plenty of other things. Squirrels, Cats, Dogs, other people, but no birds. And it's not that the birds are gone, you scared up a little sparrow earlier, but something seemed wrong with it. You've never noticed how much noise the birds used to make. The forest feels silent, dead. You try to ignore this strange phenomena and head back to your regular life. The next day, it's the same thing. When you mention something to your friend, they seem confused. So you continue to ignore it.
When the weekend finally comes, your unease has built itself up in your mind. Your curiosity gets the better of you and you go back to the forest. You are never to return the same.
As soon as you step foot on the trails, you are walking quickly. You don't know where you're going, but your feet move you along as if you've made this trek many times before. As you climb higher into the bluffs, winding deeper into the forest, you leave the trail. Any sense of your life before is gone, and all you think to do is follow this strange sensation that draws you forward. You start up a steep incline, having to pull yourself up over the top, you freeze. You're standing in front of a deep cave. The hold over your senses releases and you can breathe freely again. The cave stretches in front of you. What will you do? Will you go back home and try to forget everything you saw? Will you ignore your deep sense of longing and hope that comes with seeing this cave? Will you listen to your better judgement and leave, never to return, never to see this cave again? Or will you choose to... Follow the Call?

Follow the Call (FTC) takes place in a town called Kloid. This is a small town on the outskirts of the large city of Garen. This town sits right up against large bluffs with heavily forested areas around it. Trails carve into this forest, providing the perfect hiking, walking, or mountain biking paths. It is a common place for people to spend their free time. The lower areas of the forest include campgrounds and picnic benches as well as flat open parks. Almost every inch of this forest has been explored, either by teenagers looking for secluded places, or by adults scouting out new trails. (Don't tell them I'm here, it's a secret). Never has this one cave been stumbled upon before now.
Unknown to anyone currently living in this town, is the deep history surrounding the townspeople and magic. A long time earlier, the magic was cast out and forgotten by the people as they grew closer to science and technology. Now, unbalances in the magical realm threaten the very existence of humans and the bloodlines from earlier magic users start to awake. This strange cave acts as a portal between realms, and only shows itself to those of the magical bloodlines.
There are six bloodlines, each surrounding one element in particular: Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Light, and Ice.

The true names of the bloodlines have been lost to history without records. There are only six current wielders in each region (This rp only focuses on the region of Garen where this takes place). Each bloodline-as mentioned above- has magic and abilities surrounding the six elements.

Earth-Eden
-The Earth element surrounds manipulation of rocks, dirt, stone, and occasionally, plants. Those with this blood tend to be strong, sturdy, dependable and brave. Their affinity for stone and rocks lend to their physical strength and mental strength against terrible or triggering events.

Water-Cassie
-The Water element surrounds manipulation of water, rain, and the occasional shift from water vapor to liquid. They can manipulate almost all types of liquid, though water is the easiest. They are graceful, adaptable, smooth and often physically stunning. Their affinity for water lends to their gracefulness and the easy change from powerful and strong to gentle and kind.

Air-Atlas
-The Air element surrounds manipulation of air, wind, clouds, and occasionally shifts in the weather. They are quiet, agile, soft and quick. Their affinity for air, an unseen force, lends to their sensitivity to small things and lithe, agile motions.

Fire-Dan
-The Fire element surrounds the manipulation of fire and heat. There must be a source of oxygen for fire to be burned, and some sort of heat. They are chaotic, fierce, loud and often reckless. Their affinity for the uncontrollable flames lend to their own uncontrollable nature and strong individuality.

Light-Clay
-The Light element surrounds the manipulation of light and shadows. They are able to bend light around things, making them appear invisible, or even displaying something that is not really there. They are cautious, reliable and detail-orientated. Their affinity for light lends to their foresight and ability to look deeper into situations.

Ice-Del
-The Ice element surrounds the manipulation of ice, or frozen water, and cold. Their body temperatures tend to run colder than average, and they are uncomfortable in heat. They are solitary, cold, and can often be aggressive due to their cold nature. Their affinity for the ice and cold lends to their discomfort around others and longing for something deeper.

There is ONLY ONE of each 'magic' type allowed. Therefore, this rp only has SIX characters. Characters can be replaced though. Since this only has six roles, EACH role is considered a main role.

-The cycle will go one after another. Do not skip turns, and keep your replies long to give people stuff to respond to. Don’t constantly spam back and forth between two people, take time in between to allow others to join in. Secret Secret I've got a Secret.
-Romance is okay as long as both players agree to it, and again nothing NSFW, and keep it light. This is not a romance centered rp, but you can include some of you wish.
-If you are going to be gone for some time, let me know and we will work something out to what your character will do so we can continue.

Everyone will eventually meet each other at the entrance to the cave. We will all explore the cave and the realm beyond. There, we will meet some ‘humans’ who offer to help us out. From that point on, you only get the information you need. These other ‘humans’ are all going to be NPC’s. You can offer to play one of these characters later if you would like, but don’t plan on giving them any sort of ‘character development’. The goal is the figure out why these people were called, and what the purpose of the cave is, and finally the end goal is to find a way to destroy the evil being of the other-realm and restore peace.
