Welcome to :Hard Mode:'s first ever Clan-Bred Lions Contest!! Enter your favorite Hard Mode bred lion for a chance to show off all your hard work AND win BIG prizes!! Link your favorite Hard Mode bred lion below to enter them in the contest! -Lions will be judged by breeding difficulty plus popular vote. To qualify, a lion *must* have been bred within all Hard Mode rules and their heritages will be checked before voting. -For fairness, consideration will be given to how long you have been in Hard Mode (newbies will be judged a little easier since you haven't had as much time to work on Hard Mode breeding!), so please include the month and year that you joined the clan in your submission! :) -Feel free to include any applicable lore/explanation/backstory to explain your design and breeding goals. :) -You may enter up to 3 Lions, but you can only win once. Oblaan Wah Jud Do Sunvaar II, she's from a long line of kings, inherited only one marking from the first matriarch. Jud Do Shul, from the ongoing project. Vulon Thur, the youngest result of the ongoing project. Åsine, the most recent addition to the pride, and a step forward in the project. All are connected to past and present king/s. (P.S. Omg I found my first post in the clan thread. Apparently I've been doing this since 2017. Whut. So, uh… six years. Six. Years. Azarasti XXII - My current king. That's 22. This is the 22nd one. Mto - She got Noctis Heavy Rosette. I was thrilled. :D Kabizi - Not my favorite appearance-wise, but her heritage can be traced all the way back to my original Queen, Usiku! Anywho's… the whole thing with my pride is keeping my original Queen's genealogy going. My goals for my king's appearance have always been somewhat loose, but have focused on Black Solid Special genetics (except for the time he was Doubloon when I first started and that one time he was Sunspot lol). I did do some combo bases at one point (and may do again). I was really excited to get White Inverted Shaded Rosette, so if I ever managed to breed a lion with a Shaded Rosette mark, I'll probably try to breed one with the Shaded and Inverted Shaded marks to king. :D 3 players like this post! Since both my accounts are in HM and I consider them the same when it comes to breeding, etc. I will just enter lions from both. My join date on my side account (which is the first one I joined with) is 2018-03-13 - or at least that's the date of my first post in the HM forum. As for the lions I want to enter: B.J. - since this is a heritage replaced king you can check his predecessor who he was heritage replaced from for the HM rules part here Mainly entering this one bacause he is the result of the last big breeding project I did. Angelina - I've always had a soft spot for Albinos and this one came with a full 10 markings, and not just that, but 10 markings that actually work together to make a cohesive look. Very happy with this cub. Little Tiger - Looks like a Tiger. What more can I say? 4 players like this post! Like? |

I think I have been playing HM on and off for about 2 years now. I try not to use very many Applicators on any of my lions. Because I play on and off many of my lions are at very low heritage. My three top favorites: This is Bloodspatter She is the cub of a savage male from the August event. I have never made any changes to her base/ markings ect. This is The Queen She is a Groupie from the may event. I have changed her base. She has a dorsal cub resulting from punk breeding challenge. She's a Maneater This is a cub of a savage male from the August event. Again she's had no changes made to her base/ markings ect. 3 players like this post! Like? |

Hello! I've been playing HM since I started this account (November 2022). I don't really have lore, per se, but I do have a rather detailed naming organization! I've had three kings (Green Tea Latte, Yaupon, and now Enfleurage) that I use for names, with the most recent ancestor determining the name of the cubs. I started out with green as my breeding priority but I'm incorporating more floral themes with my most recent King/Queen 🪷 Bog Matcha Latte: No particularly valuable markings, but I like her cohesive base, marking, and mutation combo from my Latte group. Silky Phacelia: Nice powerhouse of green and silky markings. My pick for the Greenhouse group (named after the plants they resemble). Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf: I worked very hard on this base and marking (Bushveld QF) combo and I think it turned out nicely. She's related to all three of my kings and is from the Perfumery (named after famous perfumes and their ingredients). I do heritage rep, so if that’s an issue I understand! i havent been playing hard mode very long especially because im not super active on this account but i do have these guys~~ Rose Gold isn’t a very old lioness (still and adol as i’m writing this) but i think she’s really pretty :’) Rust is an achro cub that was born today so she’s my first mutie :> edit: i dont know when i started playing hard mode but it was definitely sometime in the last 6 months there’s also Rock Solid who i just think is really pretty :’) 1 player likes this post! A tough choice to choose just 3! ^_^ Joined the clan 2016-11! Nyota, G2 - the most recent favorite, she was a lucky strike - not only she had interstellar base pass from her father, BUT she also had a rosette pass too!  I love her looks as her eyes and skin also match to the stellar theme. Cheneo, a bit longer heritage, not sure if she qualifies - her father was my G2 Ferus I bred using a Mukombero on a rolled king/NCL breeding, and her mother's line was my own temporal line that I bred from two G1 lions some octobers ago! Not only she successfully cloned from her mother, but she also got Ferus from the father! Lulu, G2 - an old favorite, she's one of the oldest HM lions I keep, I love how her markings make her look pearlescent  3 players like this post! In no particular order, my top 5: For appearances - B.J Because I am a sucker for Goridhe, and also because the colors are lovely. The bloodborne+goridhe combo is criminal! For sheer difficulty - Cheneo Base, mutation, ROSETTE?? Leave some for us, geez  For style - She’s a Maneater Simple but pretty markings and decor For history and lore - Azarasti XXII 22 is crazy, but I also particularly like the den lore around him For most likely to steal - Lulu All-around very nice, I see why she’s a favorite! 2 players like this post!
