If you've played Lioden for a while now you will probably remember that last year we didn't reach Tier 3 of the Boneyard and this year it looks even more grim. At the current speed we won't even make it to Tier 2 this year. And it's all because nobody bothers to donate to food pit once it has reached Tier 1 or doesn't even bother to begin with. It's nice to have a "Feed lion for free" button but once we unlock it there is really no incentive to unlock it further, since lions only lose 20% hunger per day anyways.
So why not use a much more reliable methode of opening the Boneyard? Have it open on specific dates instead, it's not like this isn't the case with other events as well.
People will still open the carrion shop because they want to buy the decors, Lion meat and Mod for sb.
People will still at least open Tier 1 of the food pit for the "free food" button.
But at least people don't have to beg and hope anymore that admins decide to open the Boneyard for them at the end of the month, because the food pit goal has never been really achievable.
So as long as no better solution is found, I suggest this simple change.
