Many items or stacks of items will sit unclaimed at the giving tree for hours, particularly common decor like scars. Given the limited number of slots for Giving Tree items, the selection can stagnate.

My suggestion is this: if an item type has been on display at the Giving Tree for six hours without a claim, remove all items of that type. That allows for time for newer members or specific decor collectors to check in, while freeing up space for more variety.
