Serafiina Blueshimmer greets you warmly with a soft rumbling noise like a purr. You feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

You noticed Serafiina Blueshimmer pushing an ostrich chick with her nose to help it get up, and watching it tumble away back to its mom. You sit down, smiling at her. What a cutie.

Vengeance Bloodshimmer

Vengeance was not born in Glistening Range nor was her name always Vengeance. Her mother named her Sundust. Her doesn’t live too far away from Glistening Range and she would often stories about the weird, but friendly lions, who let hyenas live on their territory.
If her former pride mates were to describe her, the first two words mentioned were ruthless and reckless. She had quite the talent to annoy her pride mates as a cub, as well as an adult with her blunt manner. She can also be very unforgiving. Then she was a cub, she practiced her hunting skills and catchend a gerbil, which was her favorite at the time. Her sister Mothdart snatched it away and ate it, before Sundust could do anything. She was so mad, the fight had to be broken up by an adult and she refused to speak to Mothdart for the next two months. Despite everything she could also be the most caring lioness, if you earned her trust. Even though they were different in many ways, she and her brother Rosebud were always close and had an unbreakable bond. She never got quite along with Mothdart, perhaps they were just too similar in some ways. She was really close with her father, though never quite as close as with her brother. Her mother and her were close too, but it was nothing in comparison to her brother or father. She never managed to make outside her family though.
Her father was already older and then a young lion challenged him to take other his pride, he lost. As it was custom the new king killed the old kings cubs. Even though she and her littermates weren’t adults just yet, they were too old to be considered cubs, so they were spared, but her brother had to leave immediately. She knew it was inevitable that he left and she always thought about accompanying him. Now, there nothing was holding her back, she prepared to leave with him, but the new king wasn’t allowing her to leave, making her only more furious than she already was. It resulted in a fight, which none of them won. She had to stay after this.
While the pride would mourn her father’s death, they moved on rather quickly and accepted the new king, a bit too quickly for her liking. An exception was her mother, who was the former queen, so she decided to focus on her for now.
One day she met Dreambound, a rouge, who didn’t want to rule a pride. She fell head over heels for him and he for her. Things between them went fast and soon they were mates. She snuck out everyday to see him and thought about leaving her pride for him. What held her back was her mother, who didn’t took her father’s death very well. She could keep Dreambound a secret for a while and didn’t even tell her mother. What will be, will be and so the new king found out about Dreambound. He was furious. One day she was late, because she had trouble sneaking away under the watchful eyes of one of the broodmothers. Then she arrived, Dreambound was already dead. The king killed him to punish her. Something broke in her that day. She needed to get the rage that was boiling inside her since her father died out. She wanted vengeance for everything the king did to her and the ones she loved. She decided two things then: First, her king had to die and second, she wasn’t Sundust anymore. She was Vengeance, because that was the only thing that kept her going then. She made a plan and buried her mates body. Then she went back to her pride’s sleeping place. There she had to find out that the king killed her mother as well. What she will never know is that he didn’t only kill her mother to punish her. Her mother bothered him since he took over the pride, he just needed an excuse to get rid of her. That made her desire for revenge only stronger.
She waited until it was evening and most of the lionesses were hunting to attack him. The few, who were there, wanted to intervene, but he underestimated her and ordered them to stand back. He underestimated her and her desire for revenge and so he lost. She fled before the her former pride mates could do anything.
In the next time she wandered around aimlessly trying to find her brother. That was until she noticed she was pregnant. She wanted her cubs to grow up in a pride. At first she was unsure where to go, since she couldn’t and wouldn’t go back to her old pride. It was probably scattered anyways. Then she remembered the stories about those weird lions in Glistening Range and decided to try her luck there. She was surprised then the High Priestess even offered her to join Storm’s Peak Pride, as long as she followed the Code of the Godesses. She considered the offer and took it eventually. Then her cubs were born, she named them after her brother and their father.

Sadie Fatespeaker commented on the distant hyena yipping coming from the South. You couldn't hear anything, but figured you ought to send a patrol down there anyways.

Sadie Fatespeaker does not say a word but curls up close to your feet as you sit down near her, seeming to need some affection right now.

You would have thought that Sadie Fatespeaker would struggle with walking or finding her way around the den, but they stalked around with confidence no problem.

Sadie Fatespeaker twitched her ears as she heard you approach, and leapt to her feet, sniffing you out and rubbing against you.
