Hi, I'm Rowan! Like the title states, I'm looking for a long-term roleplay partner. I keep making these forums only to take them down ages later, so if you've seen practically this exact forum before from me no you haven't!  My writing style is (...generally) a little detailed (....unless I'm burnt out....), but I can vary my style depending on what writing style you have! I'm mostly looking for a somewhat active roleplay partner, but I'm not going to yell at you if you're late, or need a break. We all need breaks here and there, so if you decide you need a break from the roleplay (or want to stop it completely), don't be shy about letting me know! I'm very busy too (and also get burnout easily) so sometimes my replies get super short and far between or I just completely stop responding because I've forgotten. I try very hard not to do this and let the person know if I'm getting busy, but if I do this, just know it's not me ghosting you!  I'm mostly looking for humanoid romance type roleplays, but I'm pretty much down for whatever! I'm very fluid in roleplaying. Basically, whatever you want goes (within reason ). I don't really have very many things I'm uncomfortable with (except SA. Zero SA. I will never write that. I love recovery type stories and am willing to write those, but I will never write an active SA. Please don't ask me to, I will block you. Please understand that, thank you ), so I'm prettyI'm used to (and mostly prefer) romance. Especially queer romances. But I'm trying to develop a better writing style with other genres, so I'm willing to write whatever! I will literally give you the biggest hug and kiss if you're interested in queer 1800s western romances or fantasy romances though (genuinely marry me) I tend to swear a lot so if that's an issue, just let me know. I know not everyone's comfortable with swearing and I want my rp partner to be totally comfortable with talking to me and roleplaying Actually, not even just with swearing. If anything makes you uncomfortable, just tell me! I don't really write things that would make people uncomfortable (except for gore occasionally) but I know everyone has their icks I can write wherever, honestly, here, discord, instagram, etc. I prefer writing on discord because it's easier, but I'm not picky  Anyways I think that's all? I'll edit this when I'm more awake I just wanted to get this written down because I got back into writing and roleplaying Character SheetsView and Post Character Sheets 0 players like this post! Hi! I- sadly dont have 1800 western romances. I have a few I'm looking into myself but my main one is a lion rp that i recently joined and started making ocs in thats quite nice https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429543503&page=1 I'm also looking into lackadaisy roleplays to little success with my own ocs. Thats around 1930s prohibition america tho my oc moved there from the uk I also have a jjk / superhero oc whos genderfluid and an mlp oc somewhere... I dont rp here much since its hard to scroll back and I cant promise great timing on certain days (college student in game dev) but i can do my best! 1 player likes this post! Like? |

OOOH thank you for the link to that one roleplay!!! I'll check it out soon  I'm not sure what lackadaisy roleplays are, but I'd probably be willing to try my hand at them!! Especially since you're not finding much luck looking for them OOH genderfluid superheroes are amazing I actually have one of my own pfft! Oh my god I haven't seen mlp in soooo long you just brought back so many memories. I've never even made an mlp oc before, but wow I used to adore mlp SO much. I usually don't rp much here for the same reason! It's tough scrolling on a phone and I often lose track of where I'm reading because of my sight issues. I don't mind waiting a while for responses! Especially since you're in college, school is so tough I'm trying to get into game developing too and it's so confusing at times so I feel you  0 players like this post! Like? |

I'd be up for lions!! I looked up lackadaisy and it looks super familiar? And also super cute!! I don't have very much context for it, but I'm sure we could do a lackadaisy roleplay too once I have some context and such Triggering how? Sorry, finals kicking my butt and I missed your response! The superhero is- a lot their ability oriented around something that basically mixed... They're one of my favourites so again, don't feel obligated! I can dumb them down to cool mohawk power or even make another, I tend to make ocs for roleplays anyways! 1 player likes this post! Unsure if you found someone but looping back since I ended up getting some western romance roleplay examples! I also now have a post up with clear who I am, boundaries and whatnot just encase thats something you want to gander. All the written work is mine it's just not based off of a human partner. The roles are myself as a cowboy and the bot as a sheriff. Tw first spoiler is making out. WOAH I adore your writing style and characters. It's SO good. I read your forum and you match PERFECTLY for what I'm looking for. Even down to being a punk! It's very awkward writing a story with people who don't have similar views, even if you're both taking a "neutral" narrating standpoint in the story And I saw that you've said you've "regressed"?? You must've been a writing beast if this is the regressed form. I'm jealous that this is what you deem worse than however you were before WOW it's so good, genuinely!! I'm very sorry about your health issues and the effects it's having on you, but I promise it shouldn't chip at your confidence. It's seriously amazing. Have you ever written full on books? All of your examples are SO good, they feel like reading a book. Your superhero character is SO cool and interesting. They're so freaky and strange (in a good way, I promise I'm not insulting them! ) I love it. If we do a roleplay with them ever, I don't think you'll need to change them any! Their power sounds SO cringe-inducing to read and honestly? I'm here for that.Also it's funny that your guy in a toxic cowboy/sheriff dude is named Rex!! My guy in a toxic cowboy/bounty hunter story is named Rex. I love little coincidences like that And don't apologize for missing my response! I missed yours too until this one Oh and yes, I did find a few!! But I typically tend to try and go for a few people, and have this sort of "trial period" I call it, to see if we click or if one of us bails. Sometimes you click really well and then when the roleplay starts, schedules and opinions clash and sometimes you can't continue, you know? So I usually accept a group of people to roleplay with and then it slowly starts narrowing down after time! Thankfully, I have enough of an attention span (currently at least, ADHD sends me wild) to have multiple roleplays going on, so I'm able to go for a few roleplay partners! 0 players like this post! Aaaa I'm flattered! I'm down for whatever! Rex is just a name I use for the bot of mine so 10/10 tho the coincidence is quite funny I wish i wrote books, I actually work with writers on comics and commission them but i can't write for the life of me in a good gramatical sense. I can make stories but thats the dnd dm in me!!! The regression is a mix of brain damage, raised during covid and just never really being able to remember what i learn. It's just epilepsy mostly but I'm really flattered, thank you. If u wanna sort any platforms or whatnot just say! 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Rex is a super cute name, I totally get it. I was sooo tempted to start going by Rex for a while because it's SUCH a good name! Fair!! I'd totally read a book with writing like this though. It's seriously so good, I strive to write a lot like that honestly. You play dnd?? I swear we have the exact same interests Covid ruined everything. I'm so sorry that you got full on brain damage, that sounds absolutely terrifying. And epilepsy, too!? God, you have a LOT going on that's so scary holy shit. Sending you all the well wishes, I so so so hope your life decides to stop messing with you, that is SO much to deal with on the regular. That sounds terrible. I truly hope things get better Okay!
