One of the biggest frustrations for me this month is crafting. I love crafting things with the stuff I hoard each year. So this month, with the pitiful amount of trophies I seem to get despite entering 16-18 tournaments daily, often requires me to purchase crafting materials from other players in order to craft what I want.

Specifically, loser trophies seem too difficult to get plenty of. Here are the loser and winner trophies according to the Wiki:


Lions Teeth, Lions Claws, and Tail Tuft Hairs aren't egregious in their crafting recipes (at least on the level of Marble Mush requiring 40 Marble Berries), but even so, I struggle to get the amount needed to craft a single Trophy base applicator by the end of the month - not to mention the other decors I'd like to get! For reference, the Trophy base applicator requires 20 Tail Tuft Hair, 20 Shiny Stones, 5 Lion's Tooth, 5 Lion's Claw, and 5x Lion Skull. Many of the other recipes require 10-15 of each item. So to get several decor, you'd need a LOT of these.

I don't mean to brag, but I'm pretty damn good at losing. My dumb kings probably couldn't win against a blindfolded, hogtied opponent in a sack. As of this post, both of my kings, Eye Matey and Sorority, are second and third place on the loser leaderboard. Yet, halfway through the entire month, I've gotten a combined 18 Tail Tuft Hairs, 13 Shiny Stones, 18 Lion's Teeth, and 13 Lion's Claw. Across both accounts, I STILL can't craft a single Trophy base applicator. And some players are only playing with one account!

I was looking at some of my recent tournament results, and noticed that for all the the rounds after the first, only the winners get rewards. Considering that, well, a loss is a loss, and they should receive the same pool of rewards regardless of whether it's a first round loss or a third round loss. It's already disappointing as hell to lose almost every time I enter a tournament. And for players like myself who heavily enjoy crafting, it's kind of more disappointing to win the first round and then lose the round after, which prevents me from being able to get the loser trophies I need for all the crafting recipes there are. Plus... I totally wouldn't mind potentially getting a couple more MB per tournament, y'know? :P
