@Luxaeus ooh i love the concept of his scars being his stripes! Looks like he would be an OC full body (150) + dynamic pose (25) + prop/weapon (15) + large scar (10) for a total of 200GB. For the scars, because they cover the full body but are all the same “type”, I would count that as one instance of a “large scar” I also list it as a “dynamic” pose, as I count “simple” poses as ones that are more or less symmetrical, just due to the nature of 3D modelling ![]() Edited on 08/09/24 @ 11:53:40 by Aiulite (#138621) |

omg teach me how to art lol Do you use Blender? Also, did you learn from a course / recommend any courses??? If you made a course I would DEFINITELY purchase it. (Also do you have any other social media accounts with more models on them????) ![]() |

@prefixable27 haha thank u! For these models I use nomad sculpt for the iPad for the whole thing— sculpt, texture, and rendering! I’ve got some experience with software like maya, substance painter, and zbrush for my larger animated projects, but I’ve never even touched the blender interface lol. As far as learning to sculpt goes, the tools tend to be similar across software so it’s mostly a matter of watching other people work! Both beginner and advanced tutorials from any source can show you new tools and methods to sculpt/render that can VASTLY improve your workflow and model quality. Whether your own original models, or recreating somebody else’s to practice, you’ll improve with every single piece so long as you keep experimenting. Best foundation though, is to recognize the structures in what you’re modelling. All my models are made of simple, stark shapes placed to represent large components and notable structures/muscles in the body, and then combined together, smoothed, and detailed! Don’t be hesitant to exaggerate the forms/structural planes and get those big shapes in there, they disappear real quick if you’re not careful! Happy to chat if you’re looking for more tips and/or help navigating modelling software ![]() ![]() Edited on 24/09/24 @ 18:58:36 by Aiulite (#138621) |

I’ll fill out the form and you can knit pick whatever 1. LINK TO LION + references Clicky!! 2. Pick BUST, HALF BODY, or FULL BODY- Full body 3. List any desired additions under step 3: additions and specify in brackets what they are if relevant.- Simple pose (just hands on hips), Hair, costume elements (Idk if the gloves counts or strings count, rope on shoulder does). 4. Describe anything of note that is not included in step 3, or that you want to clarify further, such as important character traits, desired lighting, background colour, general vibe, or anything else.- Pupils are a heart shape, most people get it wrong but those are sideburns on the side of his face, shoes are sorta like combat boots. 5. STL file? Y/N- 6. Where do you want to communicate, and where do you want the final commission sent to? 7. payment type (SB, GB, USD)- either Gb or usd ![]() Edited on 25/09/24 @ 10:12:21 by Patrick Stump{He/Him}🏳️⚧️|8BO PHR (#481784) |

@Patrick Stump very cool guy! As a fully-clothed character, he'd be a bit pricier with the current breakdown: OC fullbody (150) + simple pose (15-- note that this will be completely symmetrical) + hair (20) + costume elements (15 x 6, counting the hat, jacket, pants, boots, gloves, and accessories- like the bowtie and rope- as one instance each) for a total of 275GB! ![]() |
