hello!! i've made this guide in order to help my clan [r&cbe], my friends, and myself remember which traits are breed only, as well as providing all the helpful links to the information!! feel free to save and use this forum or share it with anyone who needs help!! also, please note that the definition of breed only is quite *subjective*, this is just the way i characterize them.
[be warned: there is a lot of text in this forum and it can quickly get overwhelming. i tried to make it as short and aesthetically pleasing as possible, but some parts i couldn't make super concise. i recommend not to un-spoiler everything at once + read one section at a time, lol. also, CTRL+F is very helpful. ]
MARKINGS:
*NOTE: I DO NOT COUNT PIETY OR RMA EXCLUSIVE AS BREED ONLY. YOU ARE WELCOME TO THOUGH!*
TIER 0 AND TIER 1 are custom markings (purchasable in oasis),& are not classified as breed only.
TIER 2 marks are always breed only. these originate from raffle lionesses.
TIER 3 marks are VERY tricky. most of tier 3 consists of applicable markings, HOWEVER there are still tons bo in this tier. the following groups are breed only
- any celestial markMINUS splendor - any dawn markMINUS flare, splendor, valiant - any jellyfish markMINUS flare, splendor, valiant - any leonid markMINUS flare, splendor, valiant - any prismatic markMINUS flare, splendor, valiant - any sidereal markMINUS flare - any skyward markMINUS valiant - any stratosphere markMINUS flare, splendor, valiant
TIER 4 marks are rosettes, which are all breed only.
TIER 5 marks are "restricted" marks.the following is breed only
- phantom rosette[jaglion exclusive] - mottled rosette[leopon exclusive] - mottled pardus (a mutation of mottled rosette, only bred from leopon females. more info found here.) - mottled stripes[tigon exclusive]
TIER 6 marks are rma [random marking applicator] exclusive.i do not count this as breed only.

cannot be bred outside of day time even with aether x aether parents.]
cloudburst
albino x chartreux / korat / maltese [can only be bred during wet season.
cannot be bred outside of wet season even with cloudburst x cloudburst parents.]
constellation
celestial / demiurge / interstellar / leonid / sidereal / skyward x ambrosia / mauve / mulberry / prismatic/ rhubarb / ruddy [can only be bred during the month of july.
outside of july, it can only be bred pairing constellation x constellation parents together.]
esker
ragdoll / reindeer x arctic / aufeis / glacial / ice [can only be bred during wet season.
cannot be bred outside of wet season even with esker x esker parents.]
hoarfrost
interstellar x arctic / aufeis / frostbitten / glacial / ice / snowflake [can only be bred during wet season at night time.
cannot be bred outside of wet season at night time even with hoarfrost x hoarfrost parents.]
majivu
ukame x ashen / dusty / haze [can only be bred during dry season.
cannot be bred outside of dry season even with majivu x majivu parents.]
mistletoe
bushveld / citron / green / moss agate / murk x cream / cream darker / cream lighter / fawn [can only be bred during the month of december.
outside of december, it can only be bred pairing mistletoe x mistletoe parents together.]
nether
angelic x demonic [can only be bred during night time.

pulsar
arctic x anjeer / blazing / inferno / prune [can only be bred during the month of july.
outside of july, it can only be bred pairing pulsar x pulsar parents together.]

orchid x arctic / aufeis / frostbitten / glacial / hoarfrost / ice / snowflake [can only be bred during wet season at day time.
cannot be bred outside of wet season at day time even with rime x rime parents.]

maroon x heavenly / nacre / pearl [can only be bred during day time.

albino x blonde / dark vanilla / vanilla [can only be bred during dry season.

yeah its really good i cant imagine how long this took you! XD i have a newbie guide and its really hard to go over bo traits and i just suggested to download liomodded but that isnt applicable to some people so this is a great alternative!
oh gosh, it took like 2 days and many many hours ive had to change forums and formatting many times as well because of the character limit
and yeah, i really love liomodded!! i was one of the people who couldnt download it which is partially why i made this LMAO, i want to eventually add a section about that since it is super useful to have in addition to this
dont worry it took me 4 tries to download the extension i feel you and it doesnt work on my phone so ill resort to this XD also so joining your clan too it seems cool!
