Your lungs draw in thin air, yet somehow you still breathe freely. Unmoving paws still brought you to a shelf made of strange, crystalline sort-of-stuff, a figure standing behind, wings flaring as if to fill their conceptual hovel. "Ayy, another Lioden player, nice!" And it speaks gibberish. Perfect. No matter, it continued blathering on, "Here's the gist, I decided to open up a handy dandy writing shop to fund my habit, and my prides!" How can a creature that looks like some abomination born of a human blended with various bugs have a pride? Maybe it was a translation error. Wings fluttered idly as it continued babbling, hands unfurling and gesturing as motes of light shook free from beneath those moth-like drapings and took flight; oh, they were fireflies glinting like little stars. Cute. "We've got four boxes down here detailing how I conduct my business - three will tell ya the prices I work for, and the bottom right fourth will be a running list of items I'll accept in place of currency. Remember, one lion's trash could be Moth's treasure~!" Sure. Because moths had hands like humans, and another set like those of mantises. Uh-huh, you weren't dumb enough to be fooled by this monster. At least it seems tame compared to those that roam your pride lands during October. So, with that reassurance in heart, you plonked your fuzzy butt down on the starry carpet that formed beneath you, and watched as the fireflies arranged themselves upon swathes of void.

The Rules
"Be aware, prices may change depending on demand and all," the chimeric creature said while waving away their glittery cohorts with all four free hands - two more were crossed on the counter top. "The more folks swamp me with orders, the more I'll charge based on what's in higher demand. That's capitalism~!"
A somber, almost dreadful look settled into their multichrome eyes. "And I reserve the rights to draw the line." There was no room for argument with that tone. "Gore, murder, disease, madness, flirtation - if it doesn't break Lioden's TOS, I'm game. But I'm doing this to fund my habit, not get banned."
Their expression brightened up, however, and a cricketish chirrup sing-songed from their throat. Er, one of their throats. "That's about it though! The only other rule? You'll attract me a whole helluva lot faster with honey than vinegar - and sadly, corpses aren't an option 'till next March~! I like leaving animals alone." Maybe it was a good thing you've kept your comments to yourself so much, but maybe this...thing would forgive your quick judgement? You are 'just' a lion, after all.
Current Waitlist
"Anyway, if you wanna put yourself on my list, pen your name in!" Into what, the void? And with what!? You didn't carry a pen like those humans who oh-so loved to take pictures of you. "Since I'm only flirting with the idea of using paypal for actual currency, everyone's prioritized the same right now- Oh, right, you have no thumbs..." There was a brief pause. "No matter! Just tell me what ya want - don't be shy! - and I'll keep track of who's order is up next!"

Wanderer Sprinkles Bio; 443 Words, 600 | Third Person, Humorous/Playful Tone | HTML Linked
[[I just needed a guy to watch my pride for the March exploration, sooo once he's done with his shift here ima story him up and hand him off! Story begins, below~!]]
Cracking like thunder, pelts torn as if teeth had been slung at them from ever so far away, faces and bodies defleshed but left untouched otherwise as if consumed by some monster...frankly, Sprinkles wasn't having none of it. No sir, nope, nuh-uh!! A coalition of lions offered relative safety while food was easy to scavenge up and tensions were low, but as poaching season drew to a close he began getting a bit antsy with the fangs that were flashed when he'd scrounge up his own daily ration. Though a merlot muzzle hauling the still-warm carcass of a hippo calf, only to drop it at his feet was a welcome reprieve, even if a heavy, wine-hued paw settled atop it afterward. "Att. I need a male to watch my territory while I'm searching for another pride. I think you know the deal." Worry burned in the younger male's chest as he cautiously danced around the matter, "Well, I've never been much of a fighter- I- when I was a yearling, I preferred to help the lionesses watch their cubs." Shrugging shoulders paired nicely with a hummed "Fine by me. You'd just be a warm body and a fresh scent to keep those cocky leopards from partying it up while I'm gone."
In mere moments Sprinkles had his mouth full of hippo, a muffled "Ih cahn do 'hat!" making his agreement crystal clear. With an amused sigh, the wine-hued king pawned off a loosely wrapped bundle of dried, silvery beetles to the coalition's bookkeeper, who was already skimming his mind trying to recall who had sold the spry, fatherly submale. Lured back by an aurora-like back contrasted in dark 'clouds' and paler, flamingo-hued striping, he took to his job nicely; Playing nice with the lionesses who were cautious at first but soon welcomed him like a son, becoming the number-one babysitter for tired mothers and aunties, and even sidling up with his new leader shoulder-to-shoulder to make...not very quick work, but work nonetheless of their intruding vehicles. But soon the poachers thinned, lionesses cleanly sweeping those who didn't have the graces of a roaring, metal shell to protect them, and once the familiar Fluffballs began sweeping the grazer-depleted terrain, Altairon proposed a deal. While he could return Sprinkles to the Trading Center, the king had contacts, and could arrange a safe journey for the young male to travel about, see how other prides lived, and simply live the life he sought; Freedom, happiness, and relaxation without the responsibility of a metaphorical crown.
By the time he announced his decision, the lionesses of Lumineth Hollow had already prepared a bundle of supplies for his journey.
Straying into another king's lands was no unusual thing, yet the further you crept into this odd pride's territory the more unsure your surroundings became. After all, the sun was clearly up and yet the stars were still glimmering, the sky bright yet dim as if caught in an eternal 'blue hour'. Nevermind how the soil beneath your paws was soft, almost warm, yet snowy caps could be seen no more than a day's distance away - if even. While you had met lionesses on the mire skirting this place, they smelled purely of themselves and no others; in other words, they clearly weren't truly part of the pride. Now though, you could smell a thick tangle of scents within the foliage, snickering and shushing soon falling quiet as you loomed closer- what the!? A cub had lunged out, nipped your nose, and tore off howling with laughter, rosy speckling glimmering beneath the twilight hitting their pelt. A merlot-marked pride mate ran off after them, their laughter making it hard to think they weren't in on this game. Before you could wonder what kind of king would allow his cubs to wander off without supervision, a chill runs down your spine and sets your fur on edge. Brief glances over both your shoulders reveal that none of the mire-lionesses followed you deeper into the forests. So what was watching you like a hawk? Shaking your head to throw off the feeling, you follow after the cubs, chasing them right toward the snowy peaks with a weirdly soft green glow.
