Not sure if this counts as a story or anything, but does anyone in this thread have advice for when it comes to procrastination in schoolwork :)? I thought it'd help with gaining entries, as it allows people to engage in a discussion :^).

Ever since starting my second year of university, I feel as I have started procrastinating even more than I did in the first year & high school . As I am typing this I am also working on an essay that is due in 3hours. Despite the procrastination I have never been drastically late with handing in assignments or anything; the "latest" being a maximum of 5 minutes past the deadline. I think the fact I have never been wickedly late is what causes my procrastination x). How does everyone else experience it?

I’m currently in university and it really doesn’t get easier haha
You need to find a method, I give myself shorter „fake deadlines” in my head to get more motivation but the problem is often very much about organization, look for the reason why you do it so late, maybe you’re very tired after school? Being late a bit is not a big deal until it is, I’ve been going through various situations where being even 5 mins late would entirely change my life, in school deadlines are not very strict but later in life this can affect your work very badly:3
Give yourself a routine, build consistent habits of doing things as early as you can and try to reward yourself for it!

I think almost everyone finds themselves procratiniating in uni haha. In my opinion it stems from time management. In high school, at least in my country you are constantly in a progressive learning state - small tests, oral exams, homework. Even the teachers take more interest in your work - reminding you of deadlines, following up on late work etc...
In uni? No one cares, your time and work is yours to manage and being a young person in todays world there is just too much to do in so little time, but I have to say you do eventually find your groove. I know people who still hand in work 5min before deadline and I know others that have perfect schedules.
