A safou fruit seems a bit too easy for me tho.

Like, spending some SB to remove a mut? It seems to easy and in a bit of poor taste.

I don't know why this is suddenly getting attention but no support these are lethal because animals with these mutations do not live to adult hood without human interaction

I love the idea! Even tho I never had mutated cubs like that or any mutated cub of my own..it would still be better if they would have a slight chance at surviving.

I support this idea and making the impairments mutations capable of living full lives. I don't know about blindness, but I know deafness caps at about 4 and considering all the deaths are related to being unaware of danger I think that death should be variable between birth and the normal death age instead of a guaranteed death at 4.

Fatal/Lethal conditions are not a 100% guaranteed early death sentence. Even if the mutated cubs don't live into adulthood or only live for a few years, that would still be great. I get artists having to draw them and I sympathise with that, but I don't see why they shouldn't do it. It would open up a new market on the game, prompting more GB purchases to support the game, and it would make it a little less sad which would boost player moral. Plus we already have art for different mutations (dwarves, primals, etc) and non-mutation poses, so why can't we have more mutation art? I am not a long term player, but I highly doubt the game released with all these mutations. I bet they were added in an update, so the same could be done with lethal mutations. I know this comes across as a little aggressive but I don't mean it to be LOL, I'm just really passionate about this.

Anyone who says it is unrealistic or shouldn't be done because they can't hunt/fight/etc really needs to look at the game. This game has lions with rainbow colours and unrealistic decor. This game has very good hunt success rates, which is unrealistic for irl lions (even the most experienced lions fail hunts). And the game has dwarf lions. From what I've researched online there have been NO cases of dwarf lions, in captivity or in the wild. It is more realistic for a lethal mutation cub to reach adulthood than it is for a dwarf lion to even exist, let alone become a breeding male for a pride. Also, I am not saying every lethal mutation should have an adult version. Some (like the skin one I forget the name of) are so horrific that even if the cub makes it to adulthood, they will have a very awful life. The ones that could live with pride support should have an adult and/or ado version version made. Lions in this game show empathy, taking in cubs unrelated to them and (optionally) sparing/helping other animals. So I don't see why it would be too far fetched for a pride to support a lion that was unable to contribute. And we already have blind and deaf lions that make it to adulthood and wouldn't be able to survive without support from the pride, so why not lethals?

Also, adding the possibility of lethals surviving to adulthood could add more gameplay or challenges. Maybe a lioness who has a mutie cub could have her mood impacted due to concerns about her child's future. Maybe another use for herbs by feeding mutie cubs them. Etc. I think requiring the player to be heavily involved with a lethal mutie cub in order for it to survive would be good, so that it is more rewarding to the player and makes it more difficult.

I really, really, really hope that the devs will look into this, maybe do a poll? Even if they trial it with just one mutie or something, that would be great. I can only think of two disability mutations in the game (deafness and blindness) that live to adulthood and I think it would be nice to have more. Both for the players to have more representation and for the realism aspect of some lethal mutations being survivable. At least for a while longer. This would probably take a long time for the devs to do if they were going to do this, but it would be so good if they could.

Sorry for the long reply, but as I said this is something I really am passionate about as someone with empathy, a connection to the vulnerable, a love of realism/animals and a disability myself.
