He wanted to know his mother was alright but he knew that she wasn't. His mother soon laid down to tired to walk any more, Ahadi didn't know the area too well but he decided that he would try and find his mother some food. He was scared about what could be out there but he knew he needed to be brave for his mother. He had heard about this place from his mother's stories when he was younger, it was called the pridelands and that his mother had once lived here when she was a cub before she had met his father. Mufasa had heard what had been going on once he had returned and went to help his mother and Fang to get Sarabi to the healer mostly because he knew she was in a bad way not knowing what had happened as no one had told him yet. Dean was not moving and had been badly injured, he hardly seemed alive being that Hunter had managed to over power his father and would have killed him had Hikari and the others not returned to help Dean. Dean's eyes were closed. Hunter kicked the lionesses off of him before running off back to the outlands thinking that he had killed his father not knowing that his father was alive even if it was barely. 0 players like this post! Sarabi whimpers softly when being moved her whole body screaming with agony. Her eyes flutter open only for a minute or so. "Fang? Mufasa?" Was all she whispered before darkness dragged her under again. Fang helped with Uru, hearing his sister whisper is name made him happy in the knowledge she was alive for now. He gently bumped her head with his is a kind of reassurance. He saw Mufasa also help. "Where were you Mufuasa? I thought you would protect my sister, keep and eye on her. Make sure she was ok..." He trailed of as grief was taking hold of him. Laying down besides Sarabi, Fang stayed close. Hikari snarled wheezing softly from the kick. She roared after Hunter as he ran back to the outlands. "Good go back where you belong traitor!" Looking around she noticed Dean on the ground. "DEAN!" She ran over to him immediately tears fell from her eyes. "Dean, honey," she nudged her mates head hoping to get a response. She placed her head on his chest, she sighed hearing his fate heartbeat and breathing. "Dont worry Dean I've got you." Gently and with great care Hikari along with the help from Chiyo lifted a lifeless Dean on hokori's back before heading to pride rock. 0 players like this post! Like? |

"I was patrolling the far border Fang, I was heading back by the time trouble had come about" Mufasa said to him, he wasn't going to allow any of the outlanders step foot in the pridelands knowing that they had caused harm to his mate, Mufasa hadn't known something like this would end up happening or even why Sarabi had been away from the safety of pride rock as he knew the outlanders boarder was pretty far from pride rock. A few days passed by before Dean finally woke up again, he barely remembered what had happened but he was sure it wasn't good. He found himself laying down in a dark cave wondering how he got here. He tried to stand up however found himself unable to stand. He noticed that he had been patched up and then he remembered the fight that had happened. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Fang was in no mood to argue with the golden Prince. He rested his head on his paws as he stayed by sarabi's side. "You should of been with her...." He murmured before falling asleep. Sarabi could hear familiar voices, she wanted to tell them to stop arguing. But her body wouldn't move when she willed it too. Hikari had stayed by Dean's side for days waiting for him to wake up. She murmured from her sleep after checking sarabi's condition, noticing that Dean was awake she trotted over to his side. "Try not to move, you've been out for a few days dear." Dean drank the water slowly before he looked at her "How's Sarabi?" Dean asked her wondering if Sarabi was alright. Dean hoped that his eldest daughter was doing alright after all he was worried that she had been hurt or worse from the attack. Dean wondered how he had managed to get here as he barely remembered the fight with that had involved his son Hunter. Mufasa stayed close to Sarabi during those days making sure that she had all that she needed while also trying not to fight with Fang as he knew that she likely was upset by the arguing so he knew that they would need to be calm so she could recover. 0 players like this post! Hikari looked down at the ground, tears flowing down her cheeks. "Sarabi.....Sarabi is in a bad way Dean. They got her good. Uru doesn't hold out much hope for her." Hikari sobbed telling Dean this. She knew that Sarabi was a fighter but she wasn't sure now cos of the extent of her injuries. "But she's a fighter our girl." She said trying to convince her more than anyone else. "Hokori carried you back here if your wondering." Hikari got up as she needed to check on Sarabi. "You should thank Fang, as she saved Sarabi." She said before leaving to check up on her daughter. Sarabi felt warm fur next to her, heard hush voices of the male lions. She was thirsty and hungry. Her body hurt but didn't hurt like it did at first. Murmuring weakly Sarabi opened her eyes seeing that it was Fang laying next to her not Mufuasa. "Fang..... what you doing here?" She asked a shocked Fang. Fang hearing Sarabi's voice, looked at his sister's face. "Sarabi your awake, your alive." He said with joy, before placing his forehead against his sister's. "I'm so glad I found you in time." Sarabi was happy to see her brother after all this time, but she wanted to see Mufasa. "Mufasa....." She called out softly. "Where is Mufasa?" She asked wanting his comfort. 0 players like this post! Mufasa entered with some meat in his jaws and placed it down in front of her "I thought that you'd be hungry when you woke up so I brought something for you" Mufasa said to her softly, this had been the first time he'd left Sarabi's side and knew that Sarabi needed to eat and he hoped that she would be able to eat. He didn't look at Fang because he didn't want to have an argument with Fang again. Dean tried to get to his paws again mostly to go follow Hikari as he wanted to see Sarabi but he was too weak to move and ended up collapsing just as he managed to stand, he cursed under his breath as he hit the ground. Sarabi purred with gratitude as her mate placed the meat in front of her. Extending a paw she slowly grabbed the meat bringing it closer so she could eat. Take a small bite she favoured the taste of it. After swallowing painfully she took more bites finally realising how hungry she was. It wasn't long before the meat was gone, licking her lips she smiled at Mufasa before laying her head down once more. She looked over at Fang and Mufasa frowning as she could see the tension between them. "What's the matter between you too?" She asked groggily, making to get up but her paws wouldn't hold her up, she crashed back to the ground crying out in pain. Hikari heard Dean trying to get up but fall to the ground. She rushed over to him. "Dean your badly injured," she soothed before placing her body under his so to support him. "Nothing you need to worry about" Mufasa told her softly before moving closer to her when hearing her cry out in pain "You shouldn't try to stand yet" Mufasa told her softly "You were badly hurt and need to rest" Mufasa told her. He knew that Sarabi was in good paws and knew she would be ok with time, he knew once Sarabi was well that they would become king and queen of pride rock. Dean looked at Hikari feeling glad that she was with him but knew she was right about that. Dean leaned against Hikari heavily as he limped to where Sarabi was. Fang watched form the corner of the den, he know that his little sister was strong and would heal in no time. Hearing a noise he saw his father limping in with his mother supporting him, rushing over Fang gently took Dean's weight leaving Hikari to walk over to Sarabi. Sarabi leaned against Mufasa resting her head on his shoulder as his mane tickled her nose making it twitch. "I don't really remember much of what happened to be honest," she said softly into his mane. "I must of hit a rock or something." Looking over Sarabi noticed that her father was limping badly. Dean looked at Sarabi before giving her a soft smile hoping she wouldn't worry "I've had worse then this" Dean told her softly knowing that she probably was worried but he knew he'd be fine with time. Mufasa laid down beside Sarabi mostly to keep her close plus he knew that if she wanted to stand then she'd need help and he was more then happy to offer that help. Tears started to fall down her face, making her cheek wound sting. Seeing her strong father brought to this broke her. Hikari came over to her daughter gently nuzzled her with Sarabi returned winced slightly. Sarabi shapely got her to her paw with mufasa's help she wanted to show her father how strong she was even when injured. At first Sarabi nearly fell, but with her left hind leg favoured she wasn't hurting so bad. "Be careful lil sis, you'll reopen your wounds." Fang warned with concern, recieving a nod from her. Limping with Mufasa's help, Sarabi nuzzled her father with so much love she couldn't say. "I thought I lost you daddy....." She sobbed into his mane. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sarabi do worry about her father but put on a brave face. She purged when her father nuzzled her. "You gonna be ok daddy you promise." She whispered into his chest. Feeling her legs about to give way, sarabi limped back to her resting place with mufasa's help. Looking around she noticed Fang in the corner sitting alone. "Fang can you sit with me please I'm cold." She called gently. Fang smiled at his little sister before getting up from his spot padding his way over to Sarabi's other side. She head bumped her gently before laying down next to her. Looking over to his father Fang was upset for before. "Father I'm sorry I couldn't get the Sarabi in time and for everything I have done." "Fang you have no reason to be sorry, your old enough to start a pride of your own as all lions your age must do" Dean said to him softly knowing that Fang needed to find his own pride and start a life of his own just as any male of his age. He knew he couldn't say yes to that because he knew it was normal for this to happen as he had to do it himself when he was that age even though he hadn't wished to but he knew with time Fang would understand that. 0 players like this post!
