They're all pretty big pictures, so I made thumbnails. Click them to see the full pictures. I never thought I'd see people flocking to buy characters here. May as well sell a few of mine, but they're kind of odd and I'm not sure if anybody would even buy them. They're called Mockeries. I made two of them a while back to see how they would do and haven't really touched them since.
This is what I had written up for them: These strange creatures called mockeries are typically found in forested regions, though they have the capacity to survive almost anywhere. They are nomadic, however and because of this and the small number of them existing, they are hard to spot. They normally travel together in flocks of 3-6 of mixed sexes. When relaxed, they stand about 5 ft tall at the shoulders, but due to the nature of their limbs, they can be taller or shorter depending on the situation. The body itself only encompasses a fraction of that. They are born without most of their limbs, though some are born with more of them and some are born with less. None have been seen to possess full limbs or limbs cut farther than the belly though and most are cut almost to the level of the rest of the body. To get around, instead of having real limbs they use a dark magic to manipulate their shadow. The shadowy magic swirls around their stubby limbs and then forms new ones to whatever shape is most convenient at the time, though typically they will be clawed hands or bird-like legs. Despite having a grasp of magic, the intelligence of mockeries is debated. Some are very animalistic, fleeing at the sight of larger creatures and going about their days without a single worry for lives aside from their own, while others are very smart, having a grasp on some human languages as well as a curiosity for the unknown. Though mostly naked, these creatures do have feathers of strange and often vibrant colors in two places. On their head is a crest that extends much like a peacock's tail, and on their tail they have slightly shorter feathers that can fan out to an extent to make them appear larger. Their heads are particularly interesting in that they have a sort of skull-like hard helmet of bone and tough skin and in the center of this is the strangest feature of these creatures. These creatures possess a third eye that is rarely opened save for certain situations. When opened, they can channel some of their magic into it to cause a hypnotic effect to lull the viewer of it into whatever the creature wants. This in combination with their feathers is used in a sort of dance for both mating rituals and hunting. That too weird or would people actually go for this? Edit: Since Mockeries have interest, how about these two? Pearl Dragonlings - Pocket sized dragons that resemble small felines or ferrets. They create hoards many times their size and are attracted to those who possess magical powers. They are intelligent creatures and often bond with one person and one person only.    Valkea Hounds - In short, domesticated hell hounds. Only one picture shows it, but they have a natural ability to painlessly and voluntarily light themselves on fire.      0 players like this post! @Jillian - All Valkea can light themselves on fire at will or when threatened. It's just easier to show off their other attributes without firs blocking them from view. @Jane - Thanks again for helping me out with the mutations and such 0 players like this post! Like? |

Due to someone contacting me through my art thread and me needing a few examples, the second Valkea hound has been created. The first being Pairo in the examples. Unfortunately they chose the same mane and horns as she has. Maybe the next one will have more variation to show off?  Helium belongs to Jillian's Side (#52370). For create your own ones, they start at 10 GB for a full moving reference sheet like the one above with no rare or legendary traits. The GB is MAINLY for the art and work involved in creating the reference sheet for you. For the first few, I may allow some free rare traits and maybe one free legendary for some people. I want to have 5 done as examples, which would mean I'd like to sell 4 more create your own ones. Jane can have one for free because of all the help she's been. MOST of these guys will be in a sort of "draw to adopt" format. You'd have to make a reference sheet for yourself and create a character out of it. I'll be making an offsite database of them since they'll be sold on multiple websites. Breedings can be arranged to produce pups as well. Mockeries are almost done now as well, though these are going to be sold primarily rather than a draw to adopt. (At least on here) I've began creating one to keep for myself and a new base since I'm unsatisfied with the current one.  0 players like this post! Like? |
