Glacia Glacia smiled at Bullet. "Vincent trained me to control my temper. I need to be well behaved." She told him. "I can't attack others unless they are attacking me or if they are doing something against the law. My job is to protect and serve the humans and dogs of Sitka. If news got around that I attacked someone, do you think the people will still feel safe knowing that the Sheriff's dog attacked somebody? If she had made the first move then I could have fought back, since that would be self-defense." Suddenly noticing how much she was talking, she silenced herself. "Sorry for rambling." She said softly before padding inside. She pushed the treat away with her nose. Vincent wad always making a big deal about how she had to stay in shape. Seeing some of the others sitting on the couch, she shook her head and sat on the floor. 'I am not sitting on the couch again, that felt weird.' She thought. Vincent Before he left, he turned around to answer to Gabby's questions. "Well, the owner of the Snow Sweepers probably can't afford better dogs. Have you seen what they're living in?" He said. "If Glacia and I can finish our evening shift before the race starts, then you'll see us there. Don't worry about criminals. They'd have to be pretty brave to comes after an armed police officer when it is still light out." He said with a polite smile before walking off. When he reached his office he locked the door, just in case. If somebody wanted to come in they could knock. Wynter Wynter wanted to yelp with pain, but she didn't want to draw too much attention to herself, so she didn't. She wanted to lick the blood off her ear but couldn't reach, so she shyly approached Tonar. "I'm, hi. Could you lick the blood off my ear?" She asked, sounding slightly embarrassed. Finn Finn followed Gabby inside and quickly ate his treat, sneakily eating Glacia's one too because she didn't want it. He padded to thr couch and jumped onto it, resting his head on Gabby's lap. He wanted to ask her who she was talking to earlier, and he saw the man walking away outside the window. He jumped off the couch and went to the window, putting his paw on it and trying to point at Vincent before padding back to the couch and leaping on top of it. Dennis Dennis smiled at Miska and lied down his side by hers, He smiled and whispered "i wander if mike is awake" he was a bit nurves they wont get introuble. He shook that though out of his head and wrapped his tail around her, he winked and laughed with a smirk. Bullet He smiled at her and stood up ignoring the treat as gabby through it to him"naw i dont mind how long you talk, i like to talk to you" he laughed and walked inside on his padded paws. He kept his eye on glacia and smiled he knew he really did like her and wandered what she thought about him, Bullet was about to jump up on the coach but noticed Glacia and stoped himself. He turned around and sat down next to her with a smile he barked "So how long till you evening shift," he asked looking at the silver female. Gabby Gabby smiled and pet Finn she watched him him get and look out the window, not fully sure what he was asking. "Vincent?" She asked hoping thats what he was talking about, she watched as he jumped back up and continued to pet him "were you wondering vince?" she asked looking up at Bullet and glacia. She smiled "how cute" then looked back to finn with a large smile on her face, "i love my job" she laughed and jumped up walking to the kitchen, she poured 12 food and water bowls and then got out 12 tubowere bowls and poured food into 6 and water into 6, for the guest the tubowere bowls, and for her dogs they got there og bowls with there names on it. Glacia Glacia pricked her ears at Bullet's comment. "Really? Sometimes I feel like I talk too much." She told him with a sigh. She looked outside at the sun. "I probably need to go in a few minutes." She said, swiveling her ears around. She wanted to stay longer, but her work always came before pleasure. She smiled softly at him before looking down at her paws, wondering what to do now. Finn Finn barked and wagged his tail, trying to say yes. It was hard to communicate with humans. 'So the human's name is Vincent.' He thought. Finn had always been curious about the humans in Sitka. Bullet He smirked in flirty way "Of course i like talk to you, and its ok you talk alot besides your voice is very beautiful" he stood up and looked to were gabby poured the food "hungry?" he asked pointing his paw over to the bowls. (sorry its short) Gabby Gabby smiled at her dogs and looked at the tim, "holly shit its almost time for the race" she ran over to her room and put on a tight black long sleeze shirt with dennim skinny jeans. Gabby ran out to the front door getting her thin black jacket and putting it on, she leaned down picking up black combat boots gabby walked over to the coach to put on her boots. She looked at her dogs and fliped her long raven black over her soulder, "Ok guys lets get ready" she put harnesses on each dog she opend the front door and signaled each dog outside. She got the sled from the shed and put the sled bag on the sled, Gabby attached each dog to the sled and turned around to see lakura messing with a female dog Apache. Gabby put the harness on Lakura and attached it the other dogs, "Ok guys were going to win, but if we dont we will not be sore losers" she told her dogs as she pet the lead dogs. Gabby scratched the back of every dog on the team and looked at arrow and finn who had most experience with sleding "i want you two to show Lakura how its done" she smiled at Arrow and Finn and gave them an extra pet. 0 players like this post! Mike Mike yawned and stretched as his alarm went of, He jerked up and pushed himself out of the bed "Dennis! Miska! Snow! Fray! Apache! Spike! Alexis!" he called out "Come on its time" he looked around for his dogs but only found Alexis Fray and Spike. "DENNIS MISKA SNOW APACHE!!!???" He called out louder to see if they were around but didn'y here his first call. Mike went out side seeing apache over by the arctic breeze and he noticed the arctic breeze was set up already, Mike went back inside and put a baggy T-shirt a thick jacket with fluff inside and baggy jeans. he put the harness on the dogs in the house and took out side to attach then to the sled, he called out "Dennis Miska Apache Snow, come on" he waited for the dogs to come then he would start. Dennis and snow Dennis stood up and without second thought or stopping he bolted over to snowsweepers alowing Mike to put the harness around him. Dennis got into pissition and awaited for snow miska and apache, he looked back at the dogs behind him "every one ready?' he asked and looked foward seeing snow come running down the sidwalk. Snow ran down the sidewalk barking "Dont forget me!!"she said and shoverd her head through the front hole in the harnes, she was really exited for this race but didn't one to screw up like last time. Fray "ok guys get ready for pure awesomeness" he laughed and got ready to run to the starting line, he smiled as he looked at lilly one of the arctic breeze dogs way in front of them. Bullet As soon as Gabby put bullets harness on he ran over to the sled and waited for gabby to abord it, he turned to glacia and barked "wish us good luck" he smiled at the pretty female and then turned foward. Lucky, Lilly, Angle All three of them jumped up when Gabby pulled out the harnesses, Angle was first one to get the harness on she bolted over tot he sliegh and stood at her designated spot waiting for gabby to attach her harness the gang line. lilly was the last of the three to get her harness on, right behind lucky and barked "hurry up lucky and stop moving" she said inpatioent. Lucky ran up to Gabby and awaited his turn when it was his turn he could not stop moving when gabby was trying to get his harness on. When she did he ran up infront to angle and smiled "you ready guys?!" he barked out getting in a running stance. Lakura Lakura turned and looked at Gabby nd ran up to her, being the last one to get his harrness on he was hoping all the eyes weren't on him. He ran up next to Bow and smiled "good luck" he said with a smile and got ready to go to the starting line. Gabby Gabby stood next to the sliagh and grabbed the gang line and and walked over to the starting line, she aborded the sleigh and waited for the snow sweepers to arive she smiled at the team "ok guys good luck but dont push your sleves to hard" she told them and looked foward. 0 players like this post! (Time skipping to after the patrol.) Wynter Wynter was already standing beside the start line, wagging her tail. "You got this Arctic Breeze!" She yipped, standing up on her hind paws and letting out an encouraging bark escape her maw before falling back onto four paws. She looked at Tonar. "C'mon, Hot Stuff. You got this." She said with a giggle. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Vincent and Glacia coming back from their patrol and she smiled. Glacia & Vincent As the two arrived, Vincent would lean on a street lamp, Glacia proudly sitting beside him. A woman tried to come up and talk to Vincent, and she knew that Vincent had a long day and probably didn't want to talk to anyone, so she glared at the woman, making her walk away. Vincent had seen what she was doing and chuckled. "Good girl." He would say with a smile. He then let her off the leash to go wish the dogs goof luck. Glacia padded to Bullet. "Good luck." She said to him, wagging his tail. "Vincent wishes you guys good luck too." She then padded away. Whittaker and Finn The two took their positions, ready to race. Miska(Dang it! I missed my chance xD) Miska ran up behind Dennis and stood still while Mike put on my harness. I bark a couple of times, ready for the race to begin. I gently shoulder Dennis with a smile, remembering the warmth of his body next to mine. Tonar I wink at Wynter, "Thanks, sweetcheeks." I pull on the harness, wanting to go. I turn to Bullet when he spoke to Glacia and snickered, "Dang, get a room." I rolled my eyes since Bullet's flirting skills were not impressive. Arrow (I saw my old lady rudeness chance :DD) I stood slightly on my right side more, allowing the harness to hold some of my weight. Just to make sure no one would notice I bark, "Come on old ladies we got this!" Gabby Gabby looked side to side and just noticed one of her dogs her missing, she jumped of the sleigh saw a large clump in the snow "Buster, Buster" she noticed the clump snow was moving. Taking a large risk she kneeled down next to the snow and unburied what ever was under the clump of snow, hoping to wasn't a wild animal she stopped for a split second and stated to dig up the dog. Gabby saw buster and sighed "what were you doing out here" she hugged her dog and helped him up, she couldn't go home now so she checked how bad the wounds were. noticing the wounds were bad she asked "do you want to just the race?" she smiled and looked at her sled thinking *we have to start soon*. Mike Mike walked along side the sled leading his dogs to the starting line, he pet his dogs and climbed on his sled. he looked over to gabby and shook his head whispering "she needs to take of her dogs" he held tight onto the sled and kept his eye on gabby and the hurt dog. 0 players like this post! Dennis Dennis smiled at Miska and nudged her playfully, he padded to the starting line "i have a good feeling were going to win" he barked and he stopped at the starting line. When he stopped he looked over to Gabby and a injured dog, he held back the urge to run over to them and help. Bullet As they reached the starting line he looked over seeing a woman go over and talk to Vincent, but soon walk of Bullet really wasn't curious about what the woman wanted he was just happy to Glacia here to watch them win. He smiled s he heard glacia wish him luck she smiled "thanks" he replied and watched her walk of, Bullet absolutely sure that he liked her and in his opinion she was pretest dog he had ever laid his eyes on. 0 players like this post! Buster The melted snow did south his wounds and they were small. Also his front paw's pain was diminishing. He slowly nodded and licked GabbY's nose. Buster then straightened his posture and was walking toward the sled but noticed Dennis. "Hello," He managed a smile. Alexis and Maria "Slow down!" Maria frowned as Alexis sat right next to where the finish line of the race was. Her leash was released and Maria thumped her tail on the ground, "Oh boy! I might be a show dog but I just love the races." Maria sighed thinking she might as well be both a sled dog and beauty dog. Alexis barked so excited, "I wonder who's gonna win! Vincent & Glacia Vincent, seeing that the Arctic Breeze team had a hurt dog, took some bandage out. He always carried basic first aid material with him incase they came across a hurt person. He handed to bandages to Glacia, knowing she could probably get to Gabby and the hurt dog faster than he could. "Go bring this to Gabby." He said. Glacia raced towards Gabby, dropping the bandages in front of her. She then looked at Buster. "I used to be a sled dog, I can fill in for you if you want." She barked. She hated sled racing ever since the avalanche hit her old team. But this was desperate . Arctic Breeze had to race. 0 players like this post! Like? |
