Ashleigh sat up on her bed as a group of bustling girls from her year chattering loudly as they screeched and screamed cheerfully, wrestling each other playfully with pillows and talking about boys and "hot" muggles, She rolled her eyes, drawing her bed drapes to swiftly change into a dark shirt and crimson sweatpants before tying up her golden hair in a high ponytail. Collective giggles erupted from the group of girls as Ashleigh wrestled her duvet to find a more comfortable position.

"Apparently SHE almost got expelled."

One cackled, the others following with high-pitched giggling.

"Whatever, she's a bitch."

Giggled another, flying into hysterics, Ashleigh covered her ears with a pillow, anger bubbling deep inside of her and rising to her head, she felt her ears grow hot, tears forming in her eyes.

Too tired to look to see anyone walking in, Conis simply started to try to drift off to sleep. Her green eyes were closed and she was curled up in the messed up bed. Her brown hair would be falling on her face as she was trying to rest. Soon the warmth was able to help her rest. Though, her worried was starting to slip into her dreams, making them turn to nightmares.

Namira had literally been reading her Care of Magical Creatures textbook in her own compartment for the entire train ride. She was too immersed in her book to notice the presence of other people. She had even read during the entire feast. She eventually got up from the table, and with a sigh, journeyed up to the Gryffindor common room. She was too tired to go out for a fly like she normally did, so she just went upstairs to the girl's dormitory, Naya nestled in her arms. She put the lion cub down and turned away for a few moments, hoping the little cub wouldn't run off while she was unpacking. Unfortunately for her, Naya did, but Namira barely even noticed as she got dressed and laid down on her stomach on the closest bed to her. Naya was already halfway across the room, and Namira didn't even notice, thinking that the little cub was fine, sitting right beside the bed. Until she heard a squeal from one the girls who had been talking shit mere moments ago, and her head bolted up off her pillow.

She was jolted awake by some muffled squealing. Her green eyes opening and glancing about to see the cause of it. She lifted her head to get a better view. There was no way she was leaving the warmth of her bed. She just embraced it and was settled down quite nicely, besides it was almost in the middle of the night. Who was up during this time other than a creatures of the night. Opening her mouth as yawn would managed to escape.

She looked back up at Delilah and smiled. "She was a gift from my mother. I named her after my aunt, who died last year. One of the greatest people I ever knew. Sure, the snake can be a pain in the ass, but she's worth it. She never leaves my side, and I don't want her to." She smiled. The snake gave omher telltale hiss and Lyanna rolled her eyes at Delilah, turning back to Kate.

Yawning, she would look around through the darkness of the room. It was cold and dark. She was only used to that in the morning and once in a long while. It did not take too long for her to unwrap the blankets from her and slowly got up. Looking around the dorm, she was trying to find the source of the noise. She may not be able to find it though. She paused as she noticed something moving pass the window, a feathered beast. When she looked there was only a tail could be seen.

"Oh no... No.. Flurr... Did you follow instead of staying put?" She muttered to herself as she moved towards the window to get a better view. The light of the moon was helping a bit to he being able to see the castle, but couldn't see what it was that passed the window.

Lyanna ended up yawning rather loudly, and exhausted from the day's events, she fell asleep, her words trailing off her last sentence. Her head hit the pillow and then she was sleeping like a rock, managing to evade snoring while still holding Kate's hand.

Namira snorted rather loudly and rolled her eyes, heading over to her cub, who had made her way across the room. "You little troublemaker, you know better." She giggled as she picked her up, running her fingers through her soft fur. She turned back to her bed in total darkness, ready to sleep, when she noticed a blur fly past the window. She jumped a little as a girl who seemed a little younger than her began to speak to the creature. As it came closer, Namira could identify it as a gryphon. She couldn't help it; she turned towards the girl.

"Is that yours? It's so beautiful." She murmured, bringing her lion cub closer to her chest.

Conis looked away from the window as Flurr didn't fly past a second time. Hearing the words, she nodded a bit before lifting a hand to rub her neck. Rubbing her neck, she paused and smiled a bit. She was glad to know some one liked that dark brown griffin. That was not something she heard everyday, then again they were seen as dangerous and protective. She paused and cleared her throat.

"Uh.. Yes. He's a family griffin." She said as she was looking out of the window before looking back to her. "I enjoy watching him fly... We had to teach him it when he was only a fluffy hatchling."

"Oh, I'm sorry, I never introduced myself. My name's Namira Nafus. Yours?" She asked, suddenly remembering to be polite.

Coins listened to the other female talk about the griffins and smiled. She knew how, her mother almost practically raised them and handled them. It was not normal and rather odd, but she was still alive an well. She even leaned a few things from her mother, though her father often left them be to work on his stuff.

"I'm Conis Kirn. Nice to meet you." She extended a hand to shake Namira's. "And it isn't comon, but Griffins are to be handled by those who know what they are doing. Its leaning by trade. My mum raises them and cares for them."

"It seems fun, raising them. They must be handfuls when they are younglings, huh? I can't imagine how mischievous Naya will be when she grows up." She giggled, stroking her lion's back. She reached out her hand and shook Conis's as well before looking back out the window as she listened to her words.

"Yeah, my parents used to have a thing for big cats. That's how I got Naya. She was in a circus before we managed to get to her. Her mother died from disease and Naya was the only one left." She looked down at her lion and smiled, earning a little mew from her.

Conis smiled and nodded. Looking back to the window she was right about where the griffin went off. He was still not to be seen. Though, she had a feeling that Flurr was probably at the forest. That was good as he was finally not making too much of a scene. Her green eyes were focused on that window as she was wondering what to do. "He wasn't too much of a trouble maker, just a picky eater. He normally pulled out the fur before eating."

She would chuckle before hearing about the cub's history. "Oh... I'm sorry... Well... At least she is fine and okay... And that she is has a nice family."

Namira nodded and smiled to Conis. "Yeah, Naya was the same way. She still is. Picky little girl won't eat unless her meat is skinned first." She giggled. The cub began to struggle in her arms, wanting out, so she turned and set the cub on her bed, telling her to stay put as she turned back to Conis.

"What's there to be sorry for? Sure, she lost her mother, but I like to think of myself as her step mother, of sorts." She smiled at Conis again and shook her head at the little cub, who was attempting to climb off the bed. She looked up at the clock, and seeing the time was around one in the morning, she yawned. "I better get to bed. Nice meeting you, Conis." She smiled and turned around, picking up the cub and tossing her gently and playfully to the side of her bed.
