edit: Yes I know this isn't a natural mutation for lions- but neither is melanism, that's never been seen in lions either :) if you want to be realistic, think of it as a hormonal imbalance. It's just a game, folks! "Bilateral gynandromorphs - animals that are quite literally, half male and half female." Hi guys ^_^ I'm not sure if this will have support but , a thing I think would be cool is bilateral gynandromorphism, or rather , when an animal is half male, half female. Almost like intersex, but a bit different and more visible. I've never seen it in lions before but I've seen it in Birds, insects, and even crabs- https://gyazo.com/bd5b143ce507b47fcde7fe2b3ffafcdd https://gyazo.com/7597f3d4678b03d0ee12cf7f040abc30 https://gyazo.com/70c5250210b6f6b914e16aa64de9207e I'm not sure how it would manifest itself in lions, maybe a lion with a mane on one side- since that's the only defining difference between them. I'm pretty sure that those affected aren't able to find a mate/breed though, so it'd be pretty rare and you would be unable to breed them- only getting it rarely through genetic mutations. bilateral gynandromorphism doesn't always show up half and half like those pictures showed, sometimes it's patchy- i just thought it'd be a neat idea to throw out there :D <3 thoughts? |

This is a really cool idea! Of course, I'm guessing, they would not be able to breed but it'd still be something really cool to have! ~~~ 0 players like this post! Like? |

it's actually kind of sad, in birds, the ones affected wouldn't call out to other birds. they would live their whole life alone. it's pretty heartbreaking :s 0 players like this post! Like? |

Extra toes, no teeth (lethal idea), extra eye (lethal?), bob tail, fluffy tail, clawless, scoliosis (lethal idea?) , droopy tongue (idea where tongue hangs out, kind of a paralysis type idea? Nonlethal hopefully?)? 0 players like this post! Like? |

That would be really cool! Another defining feature could be having markings that appear only on one side. . . ? Or muscle masses that are uneven? I would imagine it would prove to be lethal in a lion. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't think markings are affected with this unless lions have gender - specific markings but yea, the male parts would definitely have more muscle i'm sure 0 players like this post! Like? |

it is a cool idea but as you said "I've never seen it in lions" and i think the admins try to keep the mutations and stuff as realistic as possible ._. 0 players like this post! Like? |

"as realistic as possible" I don't think lions have vibrant indigo eyes or wavy blue manes... Athough I could be wrong... 0 players like this post! Like? |
