Bree lept up out of bed with a gasp, then quickly looked to her alarm clock, "Oh my stars! I'm late!" She scrambled out of bed and quickly brushed through her fur. The small girl rushed over to her closest and quickly slid on her coffee shop uniform, hopping around a bit as she tried to slide on her skirt, "Oh, why a skirt, why a skirt!?"

Boom! Out the door. She ran as fast as her short legs would take her to to coffee shop. Her paws reached for the door handle, pushed, and... it was locked. "What!?" She pulled out her cell phone and sighed in defeat, it was Friday, and the coffee shop wasn't even open Fridays. It's hardly noon, and today already sucked.

So, the little red panda trudged her way back to her apartment, fixed her fur, and put on a more comfortable outfit. She frowned at the mirror, "Gosh, I look like a dude..." Her hoodie was really big on her and so were the sweat pants, but, that was fine, she supposed...

She wandered around outside for a while, not quite sure of where she was going. She somehow made her way to Forest Central. GRRRRRR. The girl looked down and held her belly, she had forgotten to eat... again... She dug through her pockets and fished out a small piece of bamboo gum and popped it into her mouth, hoping it would take off the edge. With a sigh she started making her way back to a pastry shop she had seen a few minutes ago, but after just a few seconds she stopped dead in her tracks. The small girl jumped into a bush and hid, panting frantically. She looked over her shoulder and saw a blurb of white. What in the world was a polar bear, of all creatures, doing in Forest Central? Also, why was she hiding? He was just a polar bear. 'Guess I was just startled...' She thought to herself. The red panda would have gotten up, but the polar bear was looking her way. It would kinda seem rude to come out of hiding (assuming he hadn't already seen her), wouldn't it? She decided she would wait until she could make a break while he wasn't looking, that way no one got embarrassed.

Valerie/23/Wild Sheep/ Interactions: Rusty

Valerie listened to the kangaroo "I see, I hope your home situation lightened up o-on- oh my" she stopped and looked up at him and gasped lightly. She moved her bouquet to one arm and she gently touched his arms where she noticed a darker spot "Rusty, I'm so-sorry for making you rush, you m-must be aching!" She looked up at him with an apologetic expression.

She didn't want him to hurt himself further!! After all he did just box with a hippo! Val moved her hoove and shifted sheepishly and looked down"c'mon, I'll move a-a little slower f-for you " she murmured and waddled forward with her eyes down and her cheeks a little flushed.

Rusty skidded to a halt in response to Valerie's sudden stop and raised an eyebrow in confusion, worried he had done something wrong. When the sheep reached out to touch him, Rusty couldn't suppress the shudder that wracked his body.

"It's ok! It barely hurts, so please don't be upset, Val," the Kangaroo said slightly flustered, this of course was a lie his body felt like it had been through a meat grinder, but seeing her so upset seemed to numb the physical pain. "Don't worry please", he replied softly while gently patting her arm, "give me a couple hours and I'll be right as rain." His paw lingered on her arm longer than necessary.

She looked up at him with big eyes, she was a little lost with how he described himself, she could tell he was in pain . Val glanced to her shoulder and managed a shakey smile "heh, well I'm sorry, Mr. Rusty. I don't r-really believe y-you. I can tell y-your hurting " her smile was sort of sad and she gently took his paw off her shoulder and held it for a moment "You'll feel better soon, just rest when we get to m-my s-shop, o-okay"

Her face twisted from her stutter and she shook her head slightly, smacking her face with her ears and she let his paw go quickly to cuplay the side of her face "o-ouchie" she whispered and stumbled forward "c'mom n-now" she smiled like a dork and looked back at him with her smiled turning into a more sweet one now.

Rusty stuttered slightly as he tried to pull a good story in order to down play the pain, but he had no such luck. With a small sad smile he replied, "haha, see right through my nonsense don'cha? but seriously don't worry, I can take a beating I've gotta, otherwise I'm out of a job." When Val held his paw, Rusty's breathing stuttered slightly, and he gave her fingers a reassuring squeeze.
"Also, please it's just Rusty, the Mr. makes me feel old," he couldn't help crack a smile at that.

Rusty noticed, Val was upset after having difficulty with her stutter, he wasn't sure how to react without being too forward, he did just meet her after all so he just frowned his disapproval and continued walking.

He couldn't help but return her smile with an eight watt one of his own, she was just too cute and sweet too. Rusty rolled his eyes at his mushiness, you just meet this girl,he reminded himself.
Hoping to break the silence, Rusty then asked, "where is your store anyway?" his beat up face had really started to throb then, and he was hoping to get ice on it soon...not that he would tell Val he was really hurting.

Valerie was trying not to think too hard about the squeeze he gave her hand. She giggled lightly about it and stopped shortly before the question. Valerie stopped and looked around the big buildings they were now surrounded by. "Hmm, I think we walked past it " she murmured as she backed up a tad and her ears seemed to have perked "found it! Lo-Look there it is! The little one " she giggled and turned around to walk towards her simple but sweet shop.

It was the smallest out of all the surrounding stores but she didn't mind, it was perfect for her. Valerie lead Rusty to it, she had to pull her key out to opened the store and she tried to get it open. The sheep frowned and couldn't get her key in then it happened, it fell out of her hold and her heart stopped from embarrassment. She couldn't open the door and it was awful!

The small sheep giggled nervously and leaned down to grab her key, flowers now in her face, she huffed and her tail went up. Valerie got hold of the key and opened her door, almost rushing inside and setting her things down and she hurried off to back. She was embarrassed and didn't want Rusty to see her so flustered like she was, so she just got him a small baggie of ice and brought it to him. He Reyes drifted away from him aa she handed the bag out to him "i-ice, h-here you go. There I-Is a small sofa in the back r-room, you can l-lay there for a l-little of you need to-to rest " she spoke softly but loud enough for Rusty to hear..

Baine walked down the busy sidewalk of Forest Central, a content sigh escaping from his mouth. It was going to be a laid-back day for him. He only had one photo-shoot early in the morning, and he had just finished it. He also wasn't expecting any calls from his agent today, so it looked like he would have a while off. But, since he had woken up early in the morning to get to the photo-shoot, he was tired, and he decided that a coffee would fix that. So that was where he was headed now, his favorite Coffee Shop in Forest Central. Once he reached the building, he went inside and took his sunglasses off, revealing two striking, yellow eyes. He made his way over to the cashier and ordered some coffee. He then stepped aside and leaned against the counter as he waited for it to be prepared. He glanced around warily, hoping nobody would recognize him. He wasn't very well-known, but occasionally someone came up to him and asked him for an autograph; he was more popular among other wolves. And sometimes when people nearby saw him giving out autographs, they came up to him and asked him for one as well, even if they didn't know who he was. He was fine with giving out his signature, but today he was hoping to kick back and relax, not stand around for long periods of time, signing stuff that belonged to people that probably didn't even know him.

Walking into the ice cream parlor that had the Jumbo Pops she needed for her Clawsicles, she took out the 15 dollars out of her wallet. No line. Good. Walking up to the stand, she said, "One blue Jumbo Pop, please. I had red before." She put the money on the table, and awaited the elephant's reply. "You do this everyday... and we tell you everyday. We don't do services for wolves. Haven't you read the sign that it's Savannah animals only?" the elephant replied. He put the money in the cashier but made no move to get the Jumbo Pop. "Well, I have a big appetite, and I need a big dessert for that. Plus, you took my money, so you need to serve me in return." Georgia replied, two top teeth sticking out but no other teeth showing, like she often did when angry. "You should learn by now that we don't serve wolves, foxes, or any other critters not from the Savannah. Now scram." Bargo, the elephant, replied. "Bargo. I gave you the money. Now hand over the pop. Or I'll have to contact the Health Department about you scooping the ice cream with your trunk again. Lets see how that goes, shall we?" the wolf replied, growling and holding a phone in her hand, ready to dial. "Fine." Bargo said, and came out a minute later with the blue Jumbo Pop and handed it over to the wolf. Georgia smiled and walked out of the door with the huge popsicle in her paws. She passed one of the cops that had been doing parking duty at the place. She looked back, unaware of the nervous facial expression she had, then turned back to look straight ahead.

Riley passed by Jumbeaux's Ice Cream Shop and glanced through the window. She couldn't help but see many mammal children inside, happily eating colorfully sweet ice cream with their parents and families. Being an orphan was depressing, but at least she wasn't alone at Miss Franny's Home for Orphaned Mammals. There were other young critters who were dependent on her for their school lunch money.
Riley knew she would stand a better chance if she stole from someone who was too busy, or not paying enough attention to see her coming. But as fate would have it, a she-wolf who was struggling to hold a massive blue Jumbo Pop was a ways ahead of the determined coyote. Riley could see the bulge of dollar bills in the wolf's back pocket.
"Here we go." she said to herself, and started quietly padded faster to swipe the money from the wolf.

Riley froze, It had been a long time since she was caught pick-pocketing. She knew she could have been quieter if she was paying more attention. withdrawing her paw, a smirk slid across her muzzle.

"Say, aren't you that wolf who sells those yummy Clawcicles? You know they kinda taste like that Jumbo Pop you've got there."

She hoped she had spoken loud enough for the ZPD officer down the street to hear her. Riley knew she needed and out if this went badly.

The snarl on Georgia's face turned into a look of fear. She quickly came up with an explanation. "Umm well... I suppose they do taste similar. But that doesn't mean I use the Jumbo Pop to make them." she retorted, keeping one eye on the money in case the coyote tried to pickpocket again. "Actually it does." she thought to herself. "And you were trying to pickpocket me, weren't you?" she added in, loud enough for a police officer on the same street to hear.

Rusty could't help but chuckle as Valeri backtracked to find her store, he then loped after her when she found the store. The Kangaroo admired the storefront while Val dug around for her key, and then dropped it. He tried to pretend he didn't notice, she was flustered enough at the situation as it was. When they got into the store, Rusty continued to rove his eyes around his surroundings while the sheep darted off to get him ice. When she returned and suggested he sit on the couch to rest Rusty complied, with a heaving sigh he flopped himself down on the sofa, his giant feet dangling over the edge. He gingerly put the ice on his black eye, and gritted his teeth at the sudden cold. Desperate to break the elongated silence Rusty took a moment to muster his courage and then asked, "Hey Val, what...what are you d-doing this weekend?"
