Appearance
Wraith is a deer-grey Weimaraner, meaning she may as well be white with a ghosting of silver hairs on her, the tips of her fur are a pale grey while the rest are solid white giving her an eerie look if there ever was one. Her fur being long simply adds to the ghost-like dog’s appearance greatly and can be unsettling too others if they stare too long; her blind, off blue eyes that look clear are what get some dogs. She has a slim build curtsey of her Pharaoh Hound heritage, only weighing in at 40-44 lbs in total and having an angular head, slim shoulders, and long legs. Her height and coloration come from her Weimaraner lineage and make her stand about 26 inches at the shoulder with a somewhat long body. Her fur is a medium length across her body with the area across her chest, stomach, tail, elbows, and ankles being longer. Wraith’s legs are long and seem almost delicate but end with medium paws that sport powerful claws, the same way her delicate looking jaws have some sharp teeth in them. Under her coat is nothing but muscle though, lean, hard muscle that easily makes her fighter even with being blind.
Personality
Wraith is a headstrong, smart, and independent dog with a good head on her shoulders and a very clever thought process. She always thinks things through before doing them, all the way through, before even thinking of making a choice. She is family dependent; having been born blind, and adores her adopted siblings like you would believe. Her ears and nose work very well, better than most other dogs due to them having to make up for what she lost. Around other dogs she plays as what she is, a bigshot, smarter than you, wisecracking she-dog with a sense of sarcasm as sharp as her teeth. She has a dislike of other females and can be very stand offish and even somewhat violent towards them. Her attitude towards her family though? A motherhen. She dotes on them, feeds them, and even scolds them for doing stupid things, to the point of nipping ears or tails. She is a secondary leader figure to her group and has no problem throwing her ‘weight’ around if she knows it’ll keep the others out of trouble.

Brief History
Wraith was born in a back alley, out of the way, remote little place to a proud mother and a less happy or proud father. Born an only pup, and a female at that, made her seen as less than nothing in her father’s eyes. But her mother, a strong albino pharaoh hound named Shesta, saw nothing wrong with her pup; caring for her and telling stories too her before she had even opened her eyes. Her father had disappeared before those eye opened. When Shesta saw the blind, blue eyes she thought nothing of it. Wraith was still her daughter and her child, and she taught that pup too listen and think before acting; too understand that even though the world had blinded her that she had other senses that were still just as good if not better now. Shesta hid prey and food from the pup, making her seek it out with her sense of smell, hid herself and made her find her mother by sound alone. She was doing what she thought would make her pup stronger in the long run. As Wraith grew older, Shesta adopted another pup into their family. A little solid white Ibizan Hound named Spectre. The only color on him was a single patch of red on the back of his ear. They grew up together after that, side by side as they aged, growing into street smart, tough dogs who looked out for each other. Leaving home to explore what the rest of the world had too offer, saying their goodbyes to their mother. Not knowing that in another year they would adopted another dog into their little family and would do so gladly when they came. It was until recently that they happened into the forest, not knowing that nearby lurked a dark and deadly place that could possibly change their entire world in an instant.

Appearance
King is a decent sized specimen of his breed, standing 26 inches at the shoulder and weighing in around 66 pounds. His build is squarely proportioned and well-muscled paired with strong legs and a surprisingly powerful bite. His pelt is long, black as a starless night and unblemished by any other color. King’s eyes are almond shaped and dark brown with lighter flecks of hazel spread throughout the iris. His ears are pointed and triangular, rounded slightly at the tips. The fur around his neck thickens into a ruff and along his tail thins out slightly to appear more wispy. His paws are almost cat-like in shape with dull, dark claws.

Personality
King is a calm, collected and even tempered Shepherd with a huge heart. He has a strong sense of justice and morality, but every canine has their flaws and he can at times be blinded by his own ideals. King prefers compromise over violence and will always avoid getting physical if a reasonable solution is to be found. With that said, he is not exactly a pacifist either and will fight if he deems it necessary. Loyal and courageous, he will always do his best to protect those around him. King is a social dog who enjoys spending his time in the company of others. Every now and then he may wander off on his own to think, but more often than not he is not an animal looking for solitude. He is an affectionate and warm individual. Honest to his core, but still tactful enough not to be crass. He is optimistic and hopeful, always seeing the bright side of any given situation.

Brief History
King’s story thus far isn’t anything too out of the ordinary. He was born to purebred parents in the home of a Belgian Shepherd breeder among a litter of three, though he remembers very little of his litter siblings as both were gone before his eyes had even opened. The runt of the litter, his sister, didn’t make it through the day and his brother didn't meet breed standards, having far too much white on his pelt. King’s mother Princess rejected the pup, refusing to nurse him simply because he did not meet her or her owner's expectations. Without Princess’ warmth and milk he quickly expired as well.

Once he reached his third month of life King was sold to a young lady who planned on showing him. He formed a very powerful bond with the woman and they were inseparable. His owner ended up having him trained and enrolled as a service dog as well as entering him in dog shows. Often being taken to visit sick children in hospitals or the elderly in nursing home.

His life was turned upside down when his owner was killed in a car accident. He’d been in the back seat and was tossed from the car, but miraculously survived with only a few scraps and two broken rib bones. His master was killed on impact. He stayed by her side regardless, crawling back over to the ruined vehicle until first responders arrived and King was taken in by his owner’s sister once she reached the scene.

He was never quite the same after that and even while his new owner attempted to make him feel at home he left the first chance he was given, escaping the house through a backdoor that was left open. He wandered the streets alone for a long while before meeting Wraith and Spectre. He immediately took a liking to the duo and after seeing him around a few more times they invited him to join them. He accepted.

King and Wraith got off to a bit of a bad start as he constantly tried to guide and take care of her. He learned quickly that she was more than capable of taking care of herself despite her blindness. Respecting her independence, it wasn’t long before the two dogs grew as thick as thieves. The small group of three are now as close as kin, one not knowing what they would do without the other.
