I don't think 7 years and eight months is very old. I think that elders have to be 10+ or more years to be a elder XP

The descriptions above specify seven months as the base for Eldership. That doesn't necessarily mean an Elder will be a decrepit old dog who can't do anything (Grizel can do plenty when her hip's not being dumb [Caucasian shepards do have a tendency toward hip problems, if my bit of research is correct]). She's not very old for an elder, but she's still old enough to know a lot.

Also, many larger dog breeds, such as ones who would be more likely to survive out in a forest pack setting, tend not to live much longer than ten anyway, especially given the hardships that would come along with outdoor life, and whatever was in their history. This wouldn't give much time for an Elder to do their Elder thing.

In this role play, she could be young, but lets say she had wanted to retire to a elder. The alpha had accepted it. I guess you could say if the alpha believe that she is old enough to retire then she my as well. And Ardentia is right, older dog breeds that are larger like a Caucasian Shepard do have problems with their hips. And most dogs that were not born wild doesn't nearly live as long. Grizel could end up dying at 10 due to old age.

Personality: Lenore is highly tenacious. She will follow a trail for hours, and refuses to give up until there is either no chance of catching the prey, or she exhausts herself. She will push herself hard, and expects the same of others who work with her. However, though she is stern, she isn't harsh, and recognizes the limits of others. If they push themselves within those limits, she's fine with that. She won't abide shirking, though, and isn't above leaving a prominent nip in the ear or flank to show her disappointment. In social situations she's actually fairly quiet, more comfortable with the organized coordination of hunting than with general mingling.

Appearance: She's a large medium-sized dog, with a strong, limber, and tall frame. She has brown points, and the rest of her fur is blue roaned, with black patches and spots. She has multiple small scars on her muzzle and ears, on longer one on her neck, and a rather large one on her left shoulder.

Brief history: Lenore was bred and trained to be a hunting dog. From the time she was a puppy she was being introduced to the sport and tactics of hunting, working with her human master and his other dogs to learn the trade. The master trained and handled his dogs with a firm, sometimes harsh hand, occasionally lashing out physically if they didn't do what he wanted. They hunted dangerous prey: wild boar, bears, and mountain lions. Between the master and the prey, any dog who wanted to live had to be fast, tough, and, most of all, smart. Lenore excelled, though her first year of actual hunting came with a few injuries. Eventually, though, she grew frustrated with the human master and with never being able to enjoy the spoils of her hunts herself, as well as the wastefulness of the sport itself. Finally, on one hunt she turned from the trail, slipping silently through the forest and away, eventually coming to the forest pack.

Sparrow tends to be very optimistic, outgoing, and enthusiastic. Being a pup, she can be very annoying and impulsive, and she knows it, but she doesn't care. She's usually cheerful, but she can be very short-tempered and tends to be stubborn. She also just doesn't know when to stop.

Brief History:
Sparrow grew up as a stray in a forest nearby the Forest Pack's. She lived with her two siblings and her father, as her mother had abandoned them right after the pups could start eating meat. Sparrow's father was left to raise them. The pups were trained to fend for themselves and hunt, until their father passed away after being shot by a gang of humans. Sparrow's siblings fled to different places, and she was left alone. Later, she discovered that there was a pack nearby, and went to find them one day. She joined them at exactly a year old.

Though Elise is partly Chihuahua, she is a medium-sized dog, with a short, glossy black pelt with lighter markings of a yellowish-cream color. Elise stands up to 18 inches, which is 1'6" in feet. Her very thin undercoat is layered with creamy fur which flows around the bottom or the inside of her belly and her legs. She also has small "socks" of the same yellowish color. She is fairly tall, though, she is slightly longer in length, measuring to about 1'9" feet. She has small, dark, fiery orange and amber eyes and a black nose between her short, black whiskers. She has a well-rounded face with creamy markings above her eyes and a mask of creamy fur around her muzzle and below her chin. ( See picture ) Her tail is also slightly feathery and long, much similar to a tail of a Golden Retriever's. 

Personality :
Elise is an intelligent, timid dog. She is commonly known as shy and wary of others, especially of those who have greater size and strength. Elise doesn't talk much -- She usually keeps to herself, since in the past, she'd usually fear that she'll be faced a beating if she insulted anybody, which is part of the reason why she is tends to be quiet all of the time. She is easily impressed and is usually kind to her companions or friendly acquaintances. She is usually very calm and reflective. Even though she tends to be more of a quiet dog, she has a good sense of humor and does best around like-able and friendly dogs, like her. When in a serious situation though, she is very observant and focused, making her an excellent hunter with her planned out actions and her clever techniques.

Prefers not to have any relationships, but I don't mind your character having a crush on her.

Brief History :
Elise was born in a small litter of 3 across a typical suburban house accompanied with several humans living together and one large, burly male Pitt Bull and a massive Rottweiler. She was later adopted by them since her previous owners did not want females. The owners were quite nice actually, but the dogs weren't, however. The two dogs had personalities that were much more nasty than their horrid appearances, which included long scars and permanent bruises. She was often teased and harassed by the big dogs whenever she spoke, which she had done a lot, until one day, she beaten and shunned by the two because she had insulted them by trying to defend herself.

Elise decided to flee out to to the streets filled with anger. She had enough of this endless bullying. Fortunately for her, the gate was open when her owners pulled out the trash bin and accidentally left the door open for a while. She ran off far away, as far as her quick legs could take her. She was then later caught wandering around by patrolling warriors in the Forest Pack, who she begged for mercy. Elise told the pack a very short description of why she was here, with a little added fibs here and there. She had never told anyone her actual background and does not intend to tell anyone at all.

Sorry, backstory sounded a bit sad, but I couldn't really think of anything else. I'm p tired right now and I'll fix some stuff later maybe.

Personality: Wolf is a hard worker and always tries his best, sometimes stopping himself believing that he is a burden. Even so, he doesn't care what most dogs say, but will get extremely aggressive when someone trash-talks his mother. If they're apart of his pack, he will scold them, even if they're of a higher position or older than him. He is a confident of his opinions, and if something he claims appears to be wrong, he will keep fighting for his opinion. He is usually friendly to everyone and hates seeing anyone hurt, crying, or passing away. One day, when he grows up, he wants to be a warrior, because he thinks that they're "cool". He is an extremely kind puppy and will do anything to make someone he loves happy. Wolf is generally chill and loves to relax and sleep beside The Falls. When he's not relaxing or sleeping, Wolf is extremely energetic and focused when he has to be. HE IS ALSO EXTREMELY FLUFFY AND CUTE OMG

Brief History: The first thing he saw when he was born was his mother. Tortured, beat up, bruised, cut. Horrified by this sight, he began secretly running away, further and further each time. One day, he ran away for good... with his mother, of course. However, his mother, with all her minor injuries, didn't last long and on the fifth day after running away, he unfortunately passed away. Wolf stood by her lifeless body confused, refusing to believe that she was no longer with him. This was until he saw a few shadows running by a nearby bush. From then on, he kept seeing those shadows over and over again. He eventually learned that they were dogs that had similar experiences. He eventually followed them to their den and became one of their pups, living happily and occasionally visiting the grave he made for his mother.
