Daniel stood at the alter, still appearing impassive as the ceremony began. The wedding parade started and went through the motions and the minister landed in his place. He watched the parade go through then the bride walk down the isle to him.

To Riley the walk down the isle to her groom to be was very long though in reality, it was only a few feet. She stood in front of him, as the person marrying them made them tell each other some vows. Riley stared at the man in front of her. His wavy, mocha hair and emerald green eyes. He was quite attractive if she were bej f honest. Too soon, a carriage with two Pegasus was in front of them, and Riley knew it was time to go. It didn't take them long to say their goodbyes before boarding the carriage. Riley looked at the man, cocking her head to the side. "Why did you pick me?" She asks, her voice quiet and barely audible.

Daniel sat in the carriage across from her, "It was mostly my father's choice but I have to agree. The others were simply saying what they were told to say in order to try and win the alliance. At least you were honest. This way I know exactly what to expect from you."

Riley blinked a couple of times. She knew that voice. It sounded vaguely familiar though she couldn't figure out why it from where. Who was this? And why did she feel like they had met before? Riley doesn't ask anymore questions, instead wrapping her arms across her chest, huffing, and pushing her back against the plush seat. She still didn't understand why they had to go on a 'honeymoon'. Really what was the point. She looked at the man in front of her. She didn't know him, and she didn't want to get to know him. Not now and not ever.

Daniel looked over at her then turned his attention to the window. He didn't care for the idea of a honeymoon. Did they honestly think anything was going to happen when the wedding was forced to begin with. He sighed, this was bound to be a hard and long life considering the woman who was now his wife seemed so grudging. It would be best to leave her be for a while, they could learn about each other later.

The carriage came to a stop, and Riley groaned. She really didn't want to be alone with this stranger or husband or whatever. She didn't want to. Riley felt the door open, as someone held a hand out for her. One of the guards. She glared at him, not taking his hand before getting out by herself. She quickly looked around, taking in her surroundings. A gasp left her mouth, as she looked at where she was. An island with the most beautiful view of the sunset in front of her. Sand all around, as a nice and cozy looking house stood on the sand, some feet away. And when she looked back, she saw the beautiful ocean. It was beautiful! "Did you pick the destination?" She asked Daniel, for the first time using his real name.

Daniel got out and looked at her, "Yes, my mother suggested it, this is where she went with father on their honeymoon. And you don't need to worry about anything, you will be free to do as you like on the island. It's obvious you don't care to be here and forcing interaction would cause more disdain."

Riley nodded her head before looking again at the sunset. It was too late to do anything now. The sun would be gone soon. But she knew tomorrow she was considering going for a swim if it were nice enough like she knew it would be. Instead she turned and looked back toward Daniel. "It's top late for anything now though I was thinking of maybe making some spaghetti if you want some?" She offered.

Daniel gave a light smile and nodded, "I would, thank you." He went to the door, unlocking it and waiting for her to go in. He looked around out of habit to make sure nothing was out of sorts before going inside.

Riley had to admit the inside of the house was even better. Walking in there was a beautiful living room to her right and some columns and a doorway before extending to a kitchen on her left. It was all just amazing! She walked in before mumbling to herself. "It's beautiful." Then she left to be an 'obedianf wife' and make the speghettk she had said she would make. She really was starving. Riley went into the kitchen before getting out a pan and putting it on the stove. Then she started cooking the meat while boiling some noodles.

Daniel looked around, going through the house since it was the first time he had been there. He found all the rooms, making note of what was where and grimaced at how romantic the master suit was. Granted the place was generally used for honeymoons and anniversaries but still. People used it for birthdays and other events too. He'd almost think that the room had been decorated specifically for this this morning. Once he was done he went back to the kitchen to see how Riley was doing.

After about fifteen minutes more, the meat was declared finished, and Riley turned the stove off before adding it in with the noodles she had strained. Then she added the sauce and began to mix it all up. Riley didn't know what she had been doing especially for Daniel. She should make him make his own dinner, yet for some reason she didn't mind. Probably because she was hungry and there was just enough for two, or so she kept telling herself. "Daniel," she called setting the plates. She put one out for him before putting another on the counter for herself.

Daniel sat down, looking at the food and smiled a little, "Thank you. I'm actually surprised you've been so cooperative seeing as neither of us were fully willing parties here. But I appreciate the offer and follow through with the meal. I don't know how to cook but I'd be willing to learn if you would teach me. Then you wouldn't have to cook everything yourself."

For some reason, Riley felt a smile come to her face before something floated in her mind. A gasp left her mouth, as she turned to face Daniel. How had she not noticed before. Hearing the way he had talked just not had brought it to her attention. She couldn't believe it. Riley had known she'd met him somewhere else. "You are him," she says softly before turning to look at him. "You're the douche that threatened to have me charged because I was on your land while I had hurt my ankle nonetheless. Oh I can't believe I was nice to you." She glared daggers at him before shaking her hand and standing up from the table, deciding she needed to take a visit to the bathroom.

Daniel narrowed his eyes, "You were trespassing, rude and uncooperative, and how was I to know you were injured when you refused to say anything about it? You cannot cast blame on me when you were the one in the wrong."
