Daniel raised a brow but then sighed, relieved that nothing had happened. He watched her for a moment then sat down, "Thank you, for making breakfast. All be it a little early." He watched her cook a moment before getting up and getting the plates and silverware for them.

Riley felt a smile tug at her lips before shaking her head. "What can I say, I'm an early riser. Early bird gets the worm." She turned back to the food. "And you didn't have to get that. I had it. I could've gotten the silverware and plates." Riley turned to face him, instead realized they were pressed together since the cupboard for the plates was beside where she was cooking the bacon. He faced her, and She him. Riley felt her cheeks heat up, as her breathing heightened, and she looked into his eyes.

"It's fine, I can at least get the dishes if you're going to make breakfast." He turned at the same time she did, blinking at the sudden and unexpected closeness. After a moment he opened his mouth to speak, "Are....are you alright?"

Riley nodded her head quickly before clearing her throat and looking away from his eyes. "Uh......excuse me," she says quickly and lowly before she gets around him and puts the bacon all on one plate before beginning to finish up the eggs. She couldn't believe how she had just frozen up. What was wrong with her?

He watched her then took the finished food to the table and set it. He went back to the cupboards and got two glasses then went to the shed outside that was always packed with snow. That was where they kept things that had to be cold, and poured both of them milk before going back inside.

Riley sat down at the counter, not looking at anything particular before she began to eat the breakfast she had made. The bacon was crispy, as she liked it, and the eggs a perfect scramble. Once she had finished, she looked over at Daniel. "I was wanting to go to the pool. Do you uh want to join me?" She asks, her cheeks getting hot, as she quickly looked away from his stare and began to clean up after herself.

Daniel ate his breakfast in silence and stood to clean up. Hearing the question he turned to her for a moment then dried the dishes before putting them away. "Sure, a nice swim sounds like it would be fun. And good exercise."

Riley nods her head, agreeing with him before going into the bedroom to change. She hadn't brought any bathing suits, so instead she put on a crop top shirt with a pair of underwear. Then she walked out of the bedroom, waiting at the front door for Daniel, hoping she wasn't dressed too inappropriately for him, or she bet he would go make her change.

Daniel changed into his trunks,he'd packed for anything. Luckily today was warm so they wouldn't need to worry about getting too cold in the water. He turned and grabbed a couple towels from the bathroom and then went out to the main room. He scanned her quickly then looked away, a slight tinge of pink on his cheeks, "Ready to go?"

Riley noticed the small tinge of pink on his cheeks and smiled a bit to herself even though she had no idea why. She nodded her head before following after him. She loved the warm air on her skin and the gentle, almost non-existent breeze, as she looked towards the water below that just looked...... Perfect. When they got down there, Riley couldn't help it and quickly jumped into the warm water, as soon as she went down, her head popping back up with a large grin on her face, as a giggle left her mouth. She smoothed her hair behind her before looking at Daniel and waving her hands as if saying come on.

Daniel watched her a moment before jumping into the water and swimming around below the surface for a moment. He surfaced and moved the hair from his face before looking around at their surroundings for danger. Once convinced there was nothing to fear he turned his attention to Riley.

An evil smile found its way to Riley's face, as she used her hands to push water towards Daniel. She splashed him once more before giggling and diving underwater to avoid him splashing her back. She held her breath for a while before throwing her head above the surface and getting her dark hair out of her face.

Daniel turned in surprise at the unexpected splashing and looked around. He spotted Riley and smiled a bit, waiting until she had surfaced and caught her breath before splashing her. He chuckled and used his wings to propel him away from her.

A giggle left Riley's mouth, as she watched Daniel propel himself away from her using his wings. He may have won this battle, but the war was far from over. She jumped out of the water, letting her wings catch her in the wind before flying towards him and dropping down into the water beside him, causing water to splash on him. She smiled, as she came above, grinning widely at him and shaking her head.

Daniel laughed happily, something he hadn't been able to do for a long time. She was funny, entertaining and admittedly pretty. She seemed to have already let go of their only other meeting and that was good at least. "Alright, you won."
