This idea was inspired by Faith the two legged dog. She was born with a brain defect that affected her bodies development causing her to walk on her back legs. With this mutation the lion could be positioned in different ways, which is ever best for the artist. I had first thought they could be sitting down, lying on its back, or standing on its hind legs. (The hind legs might not work though). This mutation would be a lethal mutation, since it will have a harder time to get around and a smaller chance against large predators |

That was it I that I was confusing myself on and think about that. It should stay alive until it is no longer protected, but like you said lethal is dying at 6 months in this game. On this post though whenever people read it, it should say it is just a lethal mutation 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree, since he would have a harder time getting around and a smaller chance against larger predators 0 players like this post! Like? |

I would recommend that it be deadly in light of the fact that the lion wouldn't have the capacity to get around as a whelp and it would get eaten by a greater creature or left behind (as yet supporting, however) 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Lexie That is why it is made to be a lethal mutation. I have had many people post on here saying that ext same thing and I have already changed it it. It is lethal so it would no survive 0 players like this post! Like? |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7In8WIEH1I This is a cat who was born with only the tiniest stumps for forelimbs, and she is amazing. Eyeless and blind are not lethal, so why should this be? 0 players like this post! Like? |

It's considered lethal in this suggestion since a lion cub wouldn't be able to survive/grown into adulthood like this in the wild. It would get eaten relatively soon. Eyeless and blind lions can still walk around okay, but these couldn't. (I support btw) 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 16/01/17 @ 20:32:49 by Dinocanid (#69182) |

@dinocanid felines adapt very well, besides this, cubs are under the care of a broodmother certainly long enough for a cub to learn how to get around. I find it much more likely for one of them to survive than one of the blind or eyeless babs to-- as least they know which direction to run. Shouldn't be lethal. Can't hunt, like blind or eyeless, but not lethal. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Al I understand what you mean and I did at once make this none lethal, but when an animal goes blind or is eyeless his other senses are much stronger such as sense of smell and hearing making it able to hunt better and fight of predators or prey. We are talking about a wild animal with missing limbs. Even though you but them with the brood mother, how long are they going to survive without her? 0 players like this post! Like? |

If being able to hunt or fight better (which is a myth, by the way.) was part of lioden logic then why can't blind or eyeless lions hunt clearly the inability to hunt is not lethal in this game 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 17/01/17 @ 12:21:07 by Al (#101639) |

It's not so much about hunting, but it also would have trouble defending itself. Once left from a mother's care, a lion with both front limbs missing has little chance of survival if attacked. 0 players like this post! Like? |

We are not talking about lioden logic we are talking about in real life. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 18/01/17 @ 13:48:54 by Jwarren (#92795) |

In actual life, MOST of our non-AMP mutations would be dead. Baby looks wrong? Suffocate it. if we're discussing something to potentially be implemented into Lioden, pretty sure we _are_ talking Lioden logic. 0 players like this post! Like? |
