The hierarchy is one of the most important parts of the Felis Draconis world. This hierarchy determines what activities your Felis Draconis can partake in, what quests, competitions, and challenges they can complete, and how often they can breed. Draconis advance up this hierarchy by earning Magic Points, or MP. Your Draconis must accumulate a certain amount of MP before they can advance up the hierarchy. Once your Draconis has gotten enough MP, you may submit them for a hierarchy update here (link pending). Please keep in mind that breedings do not stack, they are a total of how many breedings a Draconis can have in their lifetime. So, if your female Draconis uses three breedings while they are an Omega, they only get seven more breedings as a Delta. Omega (0-50 MP)All Draconis, unless they are the result of an Alpha x Alpha, Alpha x Beta, or Beta x Beta breeding start out as Omegas. Omegas are the lowest rank in the hierarchy and as such are not permitted to breed as often. Omegas are only allowed five breedings maximum in their lifetime.Delta (51-100 MP)The next rank a Draconis can advance to is the Delta rank. They may be born as Deltas if they are the result of an Alpha x Alpha, Alpha x Beta, or Beta x Beta breeding. Deltas are higher than Omegas but still below Betas and Alphas. Delta males are allowed fifteen breedings maximum in their lifetime, and delta females are allowed ten.Beta (101-200 MP)The second highest rank a Draconis can advance to is the Beta rank. A Draconis cannot be born a Beta. Betas are higher than Omegas and Deltas and are only a step below Alphas. To become a Beta, a Draconis must first acquire 101 MP, and then must pass the Rites of the Kingdom. Beta males are allowed twenty breedings maximum in their lifetime, and beta females are allowed fifteen.Alpha (200+ MP)The highest rank a Draconis can advance to is the Alpha rank. A Draconis cannot be born an Alpha. Alphas are the highest rank, and as such are allowed to breed the most often to pass down their strong genes. To become an Alpha, a Draconis must first acquire 200 MP, and then must pass the Trials of Kaila and Varthaal. Alpha males are allowed twenty-five breedings maximum, with the addition of 1 slot every 100 MP over 350, and alpha females are allowed twenty breedings maximum in their lifetime.0 players like this post! Non-physical traits are almost like advanced items that can be attached to your Draconis in a number of ways. These traits do different things depending on what they are. Some increase chances of finding rare items while scouting, others can add a cub to a breeding, and more. A Draconis can have up to ten non-physical traits at one time. Additional trait slots can be purchased at the Draconis bank. Non-hereditary TraitsThese are traits that cannot be passed on to offspring. These are earned through various activities.Passage of Courtship TraitsThese traits can be earned by completing the final Passage of Courtship.Windy: +10 added permanently to Air magic stats and +10 damage against any Earth element enemy Heated: +10 added permanently to Fire magic stats and +10 damage against any Water element enemy Rocky: +10 added permanently to Earth magic stats and +10 damage against any Fire element enemy Damp: +10 added permanently to Water magic stats and +10 damage against any Wind element enemy Shaded: +10 added permanently to Shade magic stats and +10 damage against other Shade element enemies Rites of the Kingdom TraitsThese traits can be earned by completing the Rites of the Kingdom. |

There are many different physical mutations that can affect a Felis Draconis. Some mutations are non-lethal, meaning they will not kill your Draconis. Other mutations are lethal, meaning they will eventually kill your Draconis; however, there is an alchemy potion you can craft to keep your lethal mutation from dying. Mutations are rolled randomly for a litter, with a base of 1% chance for a lethal mutation and a 5% chance for a non-lethal mutation. There are certain potions you can craft with alchemy to increase your chances of having a mutation. Some physical mutations come with some limitations. These limitations will be described alongside the mutation. Non-lethal MutationsDwarfism - causes the Draconis to have altogether shorter features, usually shorter muzzles, short stubby legs, and bigger ears. Increases failure rate for activities to 15%. Achromia/Albino - causes a loss of pigment from all of the Draconis's features, turning them white with pink skin and either blue or pink/red eyes. Increases failure rate for hunting to 15%. Melanism - causes too much pigment in all of the Draconis's features, turning their coat solid black with dark skin and either brown or black eyes. Increases failure rate for hunting to 15%. Two-heads - causes a Draconis to have two separate heads, only able to survive due to the huge amounts of magic they have. Multiplies items brought back from activities by two, decreases maximum breeding slots to 10, 50% chance of infertility at birth. Eyeless - causes a Draconis to have no eyes at all. Increases failure rate for activities to 15%. Blind - causes a Draconis to be either partially or fully blind. Increases failure rate for activities to 15%. Maneless - for Norvash and Oriaels, causes them to be born without a mane. No increase or decrease in activities. Lethal MutationsSirenomelia - causes the back legs of the Draconis to fuse together into one, looking like a mermaid tail. Multiple Limbs - causes the Draconis to have more limbs than what is normal. Conjoined Twins - causes two Draconis to fuse together in the womb, usually connected at the hip or stomach. Cyclopia - causes one large eye to form in the middle of the forehead, often times the Draconis develops with no nose or mouth as well. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Basic World Info This world is very much the same as our own, with one key difference: magic. And the dragons, of course. The world was created by Valthaar, the great creator, and his mate Kaila. Together they formed the world and everything in it. Where your adventure takes place is up to you. All seven continents are available for exploration, and though your Draconis will be born on one of the seven, you can explore whichever one appeals to you the most. A map of the world, along with the most important locations, will be developed shortly. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The Beginning In the beginning, there was nothing. The world was barren, a terrifying place filled with volcanoes, boiling water, and little land. There was no life. Then the Great Creator, Varthaal, looked upon what They had created and saw it was not complete. This new land must be populated by life. So They quelled the raging volcanoes, cooled the boiling water, and rose land from the sea with Their magic. Now the Earth was calm, but still, it was incomplete. There was something missing. So from Their hand, They planted trees. And the trees, they grew, reaching towards the skies with unbridled fervor. They also planted grasses, and flowers, and bushes, and forests began to grow. But still, it was incomplete. So They began to create the most important life forms: creatures. First They populated the sea with fishes and arthropods, then They populated the land with reptiles and mammals, and finally the skies with birds. But still, there was something missing. Varthaal had no creatures that resembled Them. And so, finally, They created the first Felis Draconis species: the Western-like Norvash. They were made in the perfect image of Them, but it was still not enough. So, Varthaal created a mate for Them, a beautiful Goddess named Kaila. Kaila was perfect, and unlike any other Felis Draconis. She was the beginning of a new species: the Eastern-like Oriaels. And when She and Varthaal mated, They created the last of the three beginning species: the Wyvern-like Aeruks. Each species was given magic, each one different from the other. And finally, Varthaal was content.0 players like this post! Like? |
